AvP Endangered Winged Species

I am looking for a story that could be hosted on a plethora of different fanfiction sites; I am not quite sure what it is called or where it might be hosted. It is a story about a girl that is part of a species that has wings and are going extinct; the predators used to hunt them in large numbers; but they stopped because of their low numbers. During a hunt a male yautja find the child that was kicked from her clan and takes her with him; thinking that she is the last of her kind. Later on in the story she ends up training with other young yautja and living with them.
