Looking for a fic with a powerful, slytherin potter that becomes a Dark Lord which doesn’t end out of nowhere (I really hope it excists )

I did read something like this, maybe 5 or 6 years ago… However it was in my faves on HPFandom, which no longer exists. Some of the stories from there were moved to archiveofourown.org but not all of them. I read the story so long ago that I don’t recall the Title or the Author. However, maybe you’ll have more luck finding it there!?! Sorry I wasn’t very helpful!
