Sam/OC Story

Hi Everyone. I been trying to remember the name of a story I read a while back and for the life of me I cannot remember the title or author. Here is what the base of the story was about

• Sam/OC story, I’m pretty sure the OC’s name was Beth.
• She worked at the library and met Sam one day at the beach where she was reading.
• The author stated she had Mitochondrial disease.
• On the way home from the library when she gets sick one of the other boys find her and call Sam
• Her mom is crazy religious and when she comes to visit she and Beth do not get along very well.

I’ve tried searching on different sites but I can’t seem to find it. Maybe the author took it down. If anyone recognizes the description please let me know. Thank you!!!!!
