He was really good at sports but was injured so he couldn't play anymore. I know that Gaara, Sasuke, and Neji were also part of this fic. I think Naruto became a coach or something to his team and he was on the verge of getting better but an incident happened and he practically lost all chances of getting better. One scene that sticks out to me is when naruto saves his team from being trapped on a bus with his bare hands. It is slash. I would greatly appreciate any help in finding this fic, thanks!
