Searching for an older M/M story.

The story begins with the main character moving from the city to a cabin in a rural town. He's recently divorced and starting over. His car breaks down and he ends up getting a ride from a friendly but intimidating biker. He later finds out this man is his neighbor.

He ends up falling for this guy who I believe is named Garrett. They adopt a cat together (found at a renaissance fair) and everything seems perfect. Then the couple is targeted by assassins, and it's due to Garrett's wealthy family.

I believe this story was taken down for publication. I'd like to purchase it, but I can't recall the author or title name.
