I remember there was this story, some AU where Naruto is dying under a tree, Sasuke finds him by following some crows, and makes him a part of his group of riders, whose mission is to go out and kill those that practice a different religion, then Sasuke is mortally wounded and Naruto cuts his cheeks to offer blood in order to save him. When he succeeds he is taken prisoner under suspicion of witchcraft and as a test they are to throw him into a pit of scorpions, he is possessed by a God and revealed as his chosen one.
