I find it difficult to find good finished stories, or ones which have updates. Sporadic updates I don't mind but when they are abandoned I don't like it

Not an exact match, and it occurs around the middle, but Harry goes back in time by way of Fawkes and ends up in a relationship.

Its not Slash, but one of the best timetravels I ever read.

Also theres teddylonglong (ff too), he has some pretty good stories too.

There is a really good story on fanfiction called Time Out Of Place

Its a slash story about harry and draco but the y go into the future not the past
