Following the Fourth Shinobi War, Naruto decides that, after saving the world and effectively ending war for the foreseeable future, he'll try something more normal, like just having a simple romantic relationship. And, well, even though he probably picked up some experience on the trip with Jiraiya (like he'd let his godson remain as clueless as he was), he's more or less got nothing to draw on as far as actual relationships go, since they were always on the move. Luckily, there's what seems like an easy answer: Hinata. She confessed to liking him, they've known each other for years, he'll freely acknowledge that he finds her really hot, everyone seems to think they belong together, and it feels to him like he's doing right be Neji somehow. So they get together, and everything seems hunk-dory.

Except it's not really. They frankly don't have much common ground to build a relationship on. She still has trouble looking him in the eye. And to be frank, the sex is boring. He can only be entertained by knocking her out with pleasure and having to finish some other way (either by his own hand or with her body) so many times. The point is, whoever this woman is, she decides she wants Naruto for herself, and has no qualms about being unfair and underhanded to get him. She doesn't care that people think they were meant to be together, and if she can take Naruto away from Hinata, clearly their relationship was never really that strong anyway, right? With those thoughts in mind, she sets out to seduce Naruto away from Hinata. Of course, he's too loyal to cheat on her right away, so she has to start slow, build up the connection. It works, naturally. They can talk easier, have more interests in common, can treat each other more as equals, and it doesn't feel forced. But Naruto still won't consciously cheat, not yet.

One night, while Hinata is otherwise occupied, the other woman takes her opportunity. Gets Naruto a bit drunk, just so he won't question changes in "Hinata's" behavior, then fucks him. And it's actually good, give and take on both parts, the best he's ever had, really. Next morning, Naruto wakes up to find Woman X lying next to him and figures out what happened. Thinking about some points, this probably works best with Hanabi or a displaced RTN Hinata. The initial drunken mistake is easier explained by resemblance that way than Naruto not noticing a henge, and it would effectively handle the issue of child appearances, as whatever traits are inherited from the mother are easily explained away. Plus, RTN is NTR backwards, and this is reverse NTR in that it is a female NTR-ing a male away from another female.

In light of the end, and pairing confirmation...

Using female Sasuke (Satsuki for simplicity), because we all know that if he'd been a girl, that would have been the canon.

Basically the same as the canon end, but instead of going to travel the world, Satsuki stays in Konoha, to be near Naruto. Unfortunately for her, because of all the above circumstances, he winds up in a relationship with Hinata. Fortunately for her, he's not really happy with this relationship, as above. And since Satsuki is his BFF, they hang out a lot, and he confides things like that in her.

Shortly after he confesses his boredom to Satsuki, he starts falling asleep while hanging out with her. And he notices that every time he falls asleep around her, he winds up dreaming about sex with her. Of course, he's too embarrassed to say anything, but as a result, Naruto starts thinking about his best friend as someone to have sex with. He even starts dreaming about her every time he sleeps.

Naturally, the dreaming about her was Satsuki's work. At least, thinking it was just dreams. Naruto actually wound up being a better influence, and she kind of developed a crush on Boruto because of it, but Naruto is better in every way, and her Sharingan helps her get him.

Before long, training exercises, meetings, mission (de)briefings, visits, all wind up as time to spend fucking. There's usually someone under his desk when Hinata stops in for whatever reason.
