This story has Dumbledore arranging an alliance with a vampire clan by giving the leader of the vampires use of Harry for a night. This is without Harry's consent. Dumbledore seems to believe the rumors of Harry's sexual exploits and uses this to attract the interest of the vampire leader. Harry just shuts down, resigned to his fate. The leader realizes something is amiss and gets Harry to break down and tell him that he is a virgin and this was arranged without his knowledge. He tells how betrayed he feels to those he thought loved him and he trusted. The arrangement was no death for Harry but anything else was permissible. So the vampire leader turned him and made him family and loved. When the order came the following morning to fetch him, they learned the truth about Harry.
