I want to beta something but I haven't found anything to my liking yet. I'm Incothe I have been writing and posting fanfiction for six years. Though I tend to take down things that are either very old and very badly written or have been on hiatus for far to long; these are a few things I am currently working on and or have posted: Dare To Think It - JTHM Intruder - Invader Zim (augh its old . . . the pain) Penifier - Squee! I'm in the process of rewriting my chapter story. And some other yugioh oneshots I wrote ages ago and do not wish to mention in detail. Anyway, when it come to fanfiction what I try to pay attention to the most is characterization. I like it when authors can manage to keep In Character. I also love an in depth and or engaging plot line, I watch closely for consistency. I'm decent at correcting grammatical and spelling errors. But, angst and general unhappiness turns me off, I can work with it but I will have trouble being unbiased. I write or have written: Anal, Bondage, Crossover, Fetish, Fisting, HJ, Language, M/F, M/M, MC, OC, Oral, PWP, Rimming, SoloM, UST, Violence, Wet Dreams, Yaoi, Fingering. I read mostly Slash and Yaoi, thats what I'm most familiar with. Het and Femslash are cool (I haven't found anything I really liked in a long time, though.). Again, I'm not very fond of angst and character death, suicide, anything like that. I don't hunt that kind of stuff out as reading material. But, I love interesting and original plotlines. I like when an author tries to do something out of the ordinary. When it comes to "potentially objectionable material" I will willingly work with all of the above along with: Incest, Double Penetration, Moresomes, most anything except for though I mention I have a problem with. I guess I have a few personal boundaries when it comes to having to review a story. I don't like Rape, but depending on the circumstances in a story sometimes it's a neccesary plot device. But, if it is just gratuitous I won't want to do it. Same goes for Shota/Pedophilia, and Beast. I am a Johnen Vasquez fan, everything by him: Invader Zim, Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, I Feel Sick, Squee!. I would have to say I am very experienced when it comes to this fandom, I've read alot and have written for it. Invader Zim was actually the first fandom I ever wrote a fanfic for. So I am well versed in the art of Dib and Zim. I like writing for Jimmy (even though he is horrible) and Edgar. My favorite Slash pairings pretaining to these fandoms are: Zim/Dib, NnyEdgar, PepitoSquee (all canon). I also have had my experience in the Naruto fandom, I have written for it but none posted. I adore Samurai Champloo would love to beta a fic for it. Any random shounen-ai or Yaoi manga or anime you think no one has ever heard of, I've heard of it, and I would love to beta your fic. The Guide of Love, Decsendants of Darkness, Yellow, Kizuna, UnderGrand Hotel, Sukisyo, you name it. Original are awesome, too. If it's obscure I'd like to see it. I want to become a Beta, to improve my own writing skills while helping others. I like the idea of someone asking me for my own personal input into something they created. I would feel honored if someone asked me to be their Beta. I'd also like to broaden my horizons, experience new writing styles and fandoms. I just want to give the author a glimpse into what it's like to be the reader, reading their story for the first time. Also to give the author security, so they know their story is clean and neat when they post it. I don't really have any specific qualifications for being a good beta. None other than the fact that I have terrific Betas and authors for a best friends and I have been writing for most of my coherent life. I'm very eager for a chance to prove myself as a good Beta. I believe my grammar to be alright, and spell check tends to agree but what does it know, so I looking more to make sure the characters stay "in character" and just general goodness(is that a word?). As it is the first chapter there is no sex as of now.
