Lilblossomcub
I had sent in my laptop and learned that my Motherboard is fried and would cost $230 total including shipping and handling to fix it. Now at the time I had the money but I didn't have it fixed or anything. Anyone have an opinion for good laptops that aren't super bulky or heavy? If anyone has heard, my laptop came from the company ASUS.
DemonGoddess
Considering that by replacing you'll also upgrade, I think that's likely the better option. Asus makes good motherboards, no experience with their laptops, however. I'm saying you'll upgrade because you probably have at best a dual core, yes? Quadcores are now running roughly 400-600, loaded with Win 7, which in and of itself is a definite upgrade from Vista
WillowDarkling
Being a Mac person, I'd recommend a Macbook, MacbookPro, or an Airbook. A little bit of a change from a PC, but they're easy to learn how to use. Just my two cents
Lilblossomcub
Hmmm thanks. I don't know if I'll upgrade but I may if I know how much more and or less I'd have it due. Yes it is a Duo.
