I've never been a beta before. Still, I've got to start somewhere if I want to become one.

I want to beta something but I haven't found anything to my liking yet.

I've been reviewing fanfiction for about four years, maybe five.

I try and state the things I liked or disliked in the fanfictions that I read. I offer some critisim if necessary but I try to not sound harsh.

"I have to admit that I'm impressed so far. A lot of the LOTR summaries I read made me want to cringe, but not this one. It's very interesting so far, even though I don't know much about Elladan. I'm actually betaing a Elladan/Legolas fic on another site so this is good. Anyways, this is really good so far. It's well written and with only a few grammar errors. Don't beat yourself up about the grammar though. You're doing an excellent job so far. I'm off to read some more!"

"First of all, wow. This was really really well-written. I mean extremely well-written.

You really brought out the character of Kurama and you did it really well.

I liked the complex vocabulary that you used. It really made the paragraphs flow.

The descriptions you used for Bui and Karasu appearance was really something. It made me like them a whole lot less than usual. I really REALLY don't like Karasu. He should learn to keep his hands to himself. ("Who cares what the hag says? I have better things to do.")LOL that made me laugh in spite of how serious this fic is. It sounds just like Hiei to say something like that.How scary! Karasu is so scary!

The only thing I had trouble with were some of the Japanese names, but it's only because I'm used to the dubbed versions of the series. I found this to be a really really good oneshot. Keep up the good work!"

When it comes to writing/reviewing, my strongest point is grammar. I know punctuation very well and can spot wrong words (such as too or two) with ease. I'm also strong at correcting word choice and making sentences flow better.

My biggest weak point is characterization. I also am afraid that I sound too harsh sometimes so I don't critizise as heavily as I should.

I write (and this is from AFF.net) abuse, angst, death, M/M, M/F, N/C, mpreg, and I've started doing some work with bond.

My limit is the incredibly graphic scenes. BDSM, Blood play, D/s, Dom, Double Penetration, Exhib, Peg, Rimming, S&M, Spanking, Toys,Voy, and VS. I can take violent. I can't take naughty.

I've written for many different fandoms; Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam Wing A/C Gundam Seed, Digimon, Lord of the Rings, and Beyblade and I have reviewed something in all these catagories as well. I've also reviewed in Harry Potter, though I haven't written anything yet. My speciality is original works, however.

I want to become a beta because I enjoy reading over the works of others and I want to help others become better writers (and possibly become a better writer myself).

I'm currently working towards a double major in Nursing and Creative Writing. This upcoming semester, I'm taking a class, "Narrative and Descriptive Writing" and will be taking many more English classes. I have a strong background in English. I also have a very strong vocabulary.

Writing is my biggest passion in life. I've been writing since I was a little girl, though I only "officially" began writing about five years ago. My speciality is original works. I love doing research for stories as well.
