Snape is given to Harry in Dumbledore's will (Snape is drawn to powerful wizards (may be a creature) and was bonded to Dumbledore to keep him from going darker or giving into temptation). Harry refuses. Snape wants to know why. Snape goes to Hermione to find out why Harry refused. Hermione explains that Harry is some kind of creature, but he represses his nature. Snape wants Harry to bond with him because of his power. Snape and Hermione ambush Harry at his home to find Luna leaving. Snape convinces Harry to let him stay with Harry until Harry's cycle begins. Harry kicks Snape out. Snape returns against Harry's wishes. A violent fight breaks out between the two to decide who will be the dominant partner. Harry wins. I think at the end of the story Luna comes back into the story. Any help finding this story would be greatly appreciated. Quote
