AdultBat Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 Seb, thanks for the feedback (and for following me through the different sites). I'll post what I have, when I can make the time to finish them. It may not toally meet all the possibilities but should cover a few. BTW, I know of Batman XXX but I had not heard of Batgirl XXX. Is it out yet? Quote
Guest Babs Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Batgirl XXX comes out w/ Sunny Lane. Sort of sad that most of the porn stars that play Batgirl are a bit stupid but then again... it's porn stars. I liked the guy who played Batman in Batman XXX but they got someone different for Batgirl. That being said... hope this inspires you to write a little more http://www.mobypicture.com/user/christinabound/view/12530907 Really hope you finish up the BG/BM storyline. I guess I could live if they don't end up together... but Bruce's arch seemed to be really good in your series. As a girl, it's nice to see male characters like Batman fleshed out like you had. Do you have a website or twitter account i could follow? Any hints as to what the stories you're working on the side are ? Quote
Guest babs Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 PS incase you'd want a prompt for a story.... Bruce has to decide between Wonder Woman and Batgirl. Despite thinking she's over him, she gets jealous and tries to win him back - getting out of her uptight ways more than usual . Been waiting for someone to write that story forever. Quote
Guest CompDave Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Sorry Babs for all of the frustration. T Thatcher's stories are rare and with Anne Douglas / Bob Cashman going into retirement I feel like he and Raven are last Batman/Batgirl shippers and we're lucky to get a story from them once every 4 years. Glad we agree on that though. T Thatcher what made you decide to write these stories? Are you a fan of the comics or the TV series more? For some reason I saw the 90s animated series when I read your work. Quote
Guest T Thatcher Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Reposting the response I tried to give earlier... The storyline that I have in the stories I'll someday return to (free time being the critical factor)has the relationship of Batman/Bruce and Batgirl/Barbara evolve in encounters with Catwoman. I chose that approach because I like the idea of there being nine different Catwomen representing the feline lives and Bruce having to wrestle with the attraction of the bad girl versus the good or put another way, the immediate gratification of a wild lover versus a stable soulmate. For this BW/Batman, choosing between two versions of good would not work. That being said the idea of BG/Batgirl and DP/WW having to decide how much of their decency they can and are are willing to sacrifice for BW/Batman could lead to interesting scenes of unintentioned peril. Alas, it is a story for someone else to write. I "discovered" Batman through the TV series and read a few comics along the way. Mostly, I wanted a Batgirl who wore a wig as part of her disguise. I wrote these stories to link different scenes I had envisioned. For example, with Batgirl Arrives I had the Catwoman shaving, the assault at martial arts practice and the wrestling scene near the end in mind. For Witness, I had the pool plunge, the AJ Soprano ripping off the wig but saving the mask, the Commissioner's bedroom gratification, and a few plot details in mind. I then proceeded to connect the dots and add details to have them make sense. For Uptown, all I had was the opening limo scene and the rest emerged as I wrote. I don't know if it is the best way to write - it certainly isn't the fastest - but in the end I try to write about the things I, myself, would like to read. Thanks again for your thoughts and comments. Quote
Guest Guest Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Hey T ... or Thatcher Love the idea of multiple Catwomen..... especially if there was more than 1 in the story. Perhaps Barbara even explores the idea of becoming one? Do you see Batman as a good guy or bad guy in your writings? Also ... what are some stories that you recommend us read (or authors) Quote
Guest Granger1986 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 Thatcher, I have to say that I'm happy that you are speaking to some of your fans. I realize that you aren't posting often but the quality of your stories is superior to the one-shot fluff tales of the Fan Fiction universe. Unlike the other two posters above, I was more of a Catwoman/Batgirl fan. I prefer FemSlash and saw your story on Wizard's Lair and read it for that. That being said, the Batman/Batgirl tango definitely did it for me and was saddened that there was such a long wait from Uptown Girl to your latest story. Perhaps I'm just a typical girl, but his flaws-grumpyness-and masculinity made him more than the campy icon that I usually read in stories. You made Bruce and Barbara more like Han and Leia. I've probably gone back and read their identity reveal in Batgirl Arrives 100 times. But I've always read the ending of Uptown Girl a lot as well. We see Bruce at his most vulnerable, realizing the conflict you stated. From an outsider perspective it appears that Barbara is learning to be bad or simply more sexually dominant in the series. When Batman fucks her in the apartment - which was great - he is in control. She wants him, but she is the submissive. Now, after all of her adventures w/ Shaft and Tony , she has become the dominator. The one in power. Something she was searching for as a Caped Crusader but now as a lover. Perhaps her making a move on Bruce like Selina and Siren wouldn't work between them. But it'd be interesting to read. I think that Barbara dominating Bruce / Batman is the climax (no pun intended) that I have waited for in this series. Obviously you will write for yourself and not your fans. But just keep in mind that you had us waiting for some time. Bruce becomes submissive to the Catwomans and Sirens because they don't respect him like Barbara does. Perhaps Barbara still needs to go through the emotional journey to get there, but if she becomes the alpha that she obviously hopes to be then Bruce gets what he wants and what he needs. Quote
Guest IvanWilliamson Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 I sort of thought Batman was unlikable in the Batgirl Arrives and Uptown Girl. In terms of personality, Barbara is definitley superior. Infact I was a bit shocked that Barbara had romantic feelings for BM/Bruce because he was so arrogant. It seemed like she was giving into youthful fantasy or carnal desires based on Batman's looks. He didn't come off as the hero - Batman , but just a douche. Shaft and Tony were very nice to her in general. That being said... perhaps the stories are about Bruce changing or trying to change. I'm a fan of the Batman character in general but have a hard time seeing him and Barbara working in Thatcher's stories because there isn't a real romance between either. Bottom line, Batman needs to be smarter to really get the prize in my book. Quote
Guest IvanWilliamson Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Also side note... the way you write Barbara is truely beautiful. I'd read your stories even if they weren't smut. Quote
Guest Seb Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Thanks for writing these stories T Thatcher. Hope to read more in the future & you post a new story sooner than later. Thanks for taking time to answer our questions. Seb PS : are you taking part in Wizard's Lair Story Challenge this year? Quote
Guest ComsmoWomen Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 Guessing T Thatcher was asked to leave the forum because of this interaction. Sad. ANyone know of a site where more of his stories might be? Also ...does anyone have a copy of Hot Gotham Night? I miss SuperStories being down. Quote
RogueMudblood Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 What in the world would make you think that? The first poster in the thread is the author, they've not been banned or asked not to interact with readers. It's encouraged to respond to readers via the forum. I'm really confused where you got the impression that the author was asked to leave? Nowhere on either archive or forum profiles is that indicated at all. And please respect that we've asked not to use the forum to pass around story copies. We don't condone that. Quote
Guest T Thatcher Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Joshnabi, Thank you for the feedback. I had a few ideas in mind for Robin stories and I guess comments like yours prodded me to start writing them out. Regarding the last chapter, I originally had a longer last chapter where the peril scene was a bit more drawn out plus there was more back story for Leila and tiny bit more for Brittany but that version was left behind on a pendrive in an airport. When I re-wrote it, for some reason, I did not include those parts. In retrospect the original version probably explained a bit better Robin's desire to (spring) break from Batman and his forgiveness of Leila. Wait, now I do remember why I changed it - it was the Brittany piece. I wanted it to provide a clue to the last scene with Robin but that way I wrote conflicted with something I introduced earlier in the story so I decided to not include it the second version. I guess I ended up scrapping the other parts, too. I may need to revisit that decision someday... Quote

Guest Fan Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 Any idea when Batgirl/Batman final chapter comes? If you need anyone to spell check it i'd be more than happy to help. Quote
