But what I do remember is that the story beings with the main character entering his first mating season, and he's worried that he won't be able to find anyone. He does meet this cocky merman but rejects him due to that cockyness, and continues on his way. But, that merman later tries to attack him (possibly rape him?), and he ends up being saved by a sharkman. Anyway, basically the merman and sharkman mate and live happily ever after in a community of mermen/sharkmen. I believe that there is MPreg. Anyway, that's about all I can remember, and I apologize for the wonky summary. But if anyone knows anything about this fic, I'd be extremely grateful if you could share Quote
