Is a gigai (faux body) specially made to look like who it was intended for, or does it's appearance change to fit the wearer?

I because I have a fic where a gigai is stolen and used, and I want to make sure I have it set up right.

I'm quite certain they're made for the user but its never stated that they're not adaptable.
