Nerys Dax
I'm using my twitter account since I don't have a personal site. I was considering removing all chapters on my fanfics and temporarily leaving the message "stop sopa" instead, but the amount of work involved would be beyond my lazy capabilities, so I'll just tweet away instead. Damn US congress and Hollywood for screwing over the entire world. The implications of this bill are so far reaching that it completely loses sight of its objective. It's at its core a bill about censorship, not protecting copyright owners against piracy. But it's weirdly and disturbingly interesting to see Hollywood lobbyists go all McCarthy on the internet. And it's a good example how money makes bills instead of the public, because the majority of US citizens (Republican and Democrats) are against this. BTW. Will AFFnet be going dark, too? Since I don't get home until the afternoon, there's really no point in doing it at that time for a few hours. Or I would've....
