Should I move my misplaced stories?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just noticed today that a bunch of my items are now listed as being in "zMisplaced Stories [ADMIN use only] > Legends/Myths/Lore." All of the items in question were placed by me in "Legends/Myths/Lore" as they all concern mythological figures such as Egyptian gods or Ojibwa spirit beings. However, they're primarily erotica pieces (everything on my page is, so far), so I'm wondering if that's why they were moved? If so, then I'm confused as to how to choose between "Erotica" or something like "Fantasy" (I have some erotica items in the "Fantasy & Science Fiction > General" subcategory too but they haven't been marked as misplaced, which further puzzles me).

I don't know if the items are marked as hidden or not; I haven't gotten any notices yet to move them, but if they're marked as misplaced I'd really like to get them in their right spots.

(All my material is in the Original category.)

The stories in question are:

Hm, I've just noticed the entire "Legends/Myths/Lore" subcategory seems to have been put under "Misplaced." o_o So I'm even more puzzled; is it being done away with...?

It's actually in books. If you re-add them to books, and then tell me when you have, I can merge over hits, reviews and rates from the other table. Once you do the new add, let me know and LEAVE the original stories. I'll delete them when I've finished.

Could the stories in question also fit under the "Original/Fantasy & Science Fiction/General" category? (I have some stories set in the same storyline as the "Legends/Myths/Lore" ones but featuring original mythological characters, so "Fantasy" is where they've gone, so moving the remaining stories elsewhere might be confusing.) I don't like the thought of reposting them all (I understand hits/ratings/reviews would be transferred, but presumably not original posting date/order?), and prefer to have all my original work on the Original section of the site, but if they do belong only in the Books section I'll repost them.

I can (and do) adjust the posting date in the database. I have to, as the review dates would be before publication. This is why when someone re-adds for me, rather than me moving the stories; I tell them to leave the original loads alone. I need the date data (which is not displayed except in the db). As to the mythological stuff, if you base it on actual mythological characters, it should go to where those stories are in books.

Figured I may as well get it out of the way while my Internet's working.
