Guest Serenanna Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 Something tells me that if I do end up going to hell one day, I should bring a parka. Now I'm not a One Piece fan since the dub ruined my experience, but I know the characters and the fandom. A few months ago, 4Kids, who was doing the One Piece dub currently on Cartoon Network, dropped the right. Fans rejoiced. As of today, those rights were picked up by . . . Funimation, the same company responsible for doing the FMA and DBZ dubs. And fans rejoiced at the oncoming un-cut subbed boxsets. They're also going to be started at some other arc and not the beginning, but . . . I may actually watch it now if just to say, 'oh yeah, I saw that too!' Anyway, let the rejoicing commence! Crazed Flow Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 I ignored One Piece at first because I didn't want to watch that crappy edited version 4Kids did. Thanks to Funimation, I will be checking this show out now by getting the DVD uncut. I love Funimation! Quote
redsliver Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 One Piece is my absolute favorite anime, however no professional subtitling job will ever compare to Kaizoku's fansubs so this news isn't particularly exciting. Quote
