any harry-looking-for-suitor-or-mate m/m suggestions?

I'm currently reading these stories about harry being a _______ and looking for a male mate.

But every time i find a fic it's like i'm reading an episode of the Bachelor(ette). People find out harry is a magical being and then these 'courts' are held where people try to vie for his hand in mateship - utterly boring!

Are there any of these stories (where harry is a magical being and looking for a mate) where the story doesn't read like a reality TV show? Where the primal instincts of the magical being in question does most of the talking? Or maybe where courts aren't held, people who want harry just gather and duke it out without "rules" or "chaperones" or all those other fancy high class structured stuff?

Got any suggestions?

There is Desperate Measures by vvc. Harry is half- veela and is looking for a mate. Don't know if you read it or if you'll like it. There is some courting but Harry sets the rules.

actually that was one of the fics I thought was dreadfully boring (ended up skimming it all).
