I've really gotten into some Super!Harry fics recently, but I'm running into some repeating patterns/problems: The fic is completely ridiculous (i.e. Harry is heir to all four founders, has God-like magical powers for no apparent reason, has 18 animagus forms, etc.) Harry is a total a**hole or otherwise completely OOC. The fic is unfinished or rambles on forever. This seems to be a big problem as a lot of abandoned fics spent whole chapters talking about what Christmas presents Harry bought or the exact details of his new designer wardrobe that he bought once he came into his inheritance from the Potters, Blacks, Merlin, etc. There's no plausible explanation for Harry's new abilities. (I love powerful!Harry, but if he's suddenly super-powered just because he "woke up that way", then where's the fun?) However, there are a LOT of things that I'm interested in and like in HP fanfic: Harry discovering his animagus form. Harry taking some initiative and directing his own life beyond Dumbledore's influence. (But not necessarily bad!Dumbledore) Magical creature inheritance. Slash. Het. Humor, snarkiness, even some crack. Lots of other stuff. So I'd be interested in a wide variety of stuff under the Super!Harry umbrella, but I'm really looking for stuff that's both decently written, and complete (or regularly updated!).
