Guest bgardne
OH MY GOD! My Dad and I were just driving home from picking up his work, and we passed a house that had been TOTALLY over decorated. The Garden was HUGE, and full of gaudy colored flowers, and everything was all big and flashy. I mentioned it, and my father, Daddy Nice Kai, said something that had me stunned: "Son...When your 'tree' is big enough, you don't need to impress people with flowers." I just about DIED! Have YOU got a phrase that might not make it to Cliche level outside this site? Share it and we'll all laugh! Mister Nice Kai

Guest achtungnight
My God, I have so many. My personal faves: From "Two Cats in Heat"- the dumb baseball analogy Cat Osterman thinks of that compares her seduction of Cat Reddick to a strikeout; Osterman's maroon bra that is "just a color, not important" (only Longhorn/Aggie/OU fans will get the joke, but it's a good one); and all the Lord of the Rings parody with Reddick's purity ring (can't believe only one fan has ever commented on it). From "X-Men 3: Additional Aftermath"- A power-less Rogue becomes the X-Men's Xander. Kitty refers to her time with Bobby as "the Iceman Cometh." From "The Rendezvous"- Erika Christensen believes jerks who would unfairly criticize her should "go visit Xenu" (dumb line, I know), does Taxi Driver impressions in the nude to rehearse her lines, and parodies her fellow Scientologist celebrities while in the throes of passion (trust me, it was funny at the time). Keri Russell has fantasies that rival the cheesiest porno movies ever made and yet are super-hot. Evan Rachel Wood parodies her own characters when seducing others. Then of course there's all the whacked-out homages to classic films ranging from The Breakfast Club to Passion of the Christ. And the Neverwhere cameo at the end with emotions that fit the characters' needs. Truly a convoulted story, this was. From "Compensation"- the opening parody of Lindsay Pagano's "All I Need" commercials. That scene wrote itself and made me laugh really hard. From "Fear, Lust, and Vanity"- papparazzi chase becomes seduction. Enough said. From "Riding the Bull"- the numerous mostly subtle bull-related analogies as Erika deals with BS, metaphorical rodeos and minotaurs, and Benicio del Toro. I'm sure my readers can find more.
