refine search options

I was wondering if the search option could be refined to allow for a more specific search. For example, searching for completed stories only. Please take this suggestion into consideration. Thank-you.

As it stands, there is a tag that authors can use to designate this. You can search for "complete"

If you are searching for multiple terms in the summary, you can use the "+" parameter and your terms.

For example:

In HP, if I were to search for "+veela +complete" (take out the "") and check the SQL box, I get 16 returns.

Like any other search, the authors have to put the tag or term in the story for it to be searchable.

I think AFF needs to have 2 different link to separate the completed and uncompleted stories on the stories making it easier for readers to read. Sometimes I really like to read stories that are finished instead of reading the whole story and left on a cliffhanger waiting for the story to be finished.

We're not going to have two separate links like that. However, when the new search engine is finally ported in to the archive, it'll certainly make it easier to find things.
