This is a few months old now, but we should have it mentioned here in our little FF section. Furthermore, there's also going to be a Final Fantasy XI sequel as well. Maybe it'll fare better than EQ II in the MMO field. The battle system is certainly far apart from older styles, though having been unable to play XII yet, I can't say how similar it might be to that, which is the current, newest FF incarnation available. It's also a return of the Gunblade, from FF VIII, which is an interesting weapon in concept, if not entirely a real, practical weapon. Feel free to discuss.
