If you've read my wow stuff, you probably can guess why that affected me. I already have 2 open stories and a sequel I need to get on, but now I want to write a left4dead yuri. Ever been touched by an image? I'd love to see it.

Nice pic. I can definitely see wanting to create a story to frame that scene, hopefully one that does justice to the story already being told.

I'm usually inspired by song lyrics or god-only-knows, but a few pics have sparked a story or two.

I've used pictures to help me pick up the slack, but the only time I ever looked at a picture and thought, 'I need to write this', was this Fire Emblem picture. Because of it, I wrote one of my personal favorite fics and even had one of my favorite writers on the site tell me it was a good story, so I consider the derivative-ness well worth it. Funny enough, someone even asked me on FF.net if the story was based on the picture or vice versa, so at least I got the image across.

I've been moved by images lots of times. Art museums, mostly, but there's a really talented artist whose work I LOVE, and one of her drawings inspired me to begin a crossover fanfic (which I began writing for NanoWrimo two years ago, and unsurprisedly, never finished) between Hellraiser and Harry Potter (well, actually Severus Snape). While the original story sucked, I do eventually want to return to it and redo it. I still think it would make for an awesome story.
