Guest Ertia Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 Everyone seems to have made very good points! But I just gotta say, if you've never actually HAD sex, and this applies especially to anal, perhaps you shouldn't be WRITING about it. I don't know. The really young girls touting yaoi buttons and t-shirts concerns me a little bit. I mean, I was never innocent. Not that I can remember, but I remember in Junior High, checking a copy of Judy Blume's "Forever" and reading it with my girlfriends out back. *shrug* Seems so innocent, now!
Guest Mike256bit Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 I'm laughing at the idea of dual femmification where they get into a slapfight over who gets to be the bottom.
Iggy_lovechild Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 But I just gotta say, if you've never actually HAD sex, and this applies especially to anal, perhaps you shouldn't be WRITING about it. Well...I don't know if that's entirely fair. That's what research and asking questions is for. That's like saying a person shouldn't write about bondage if they've never seen the handle end of a bullwhip or that men shouldn't try a sex scene from a woman's pov. I can say that I've had anal sex and to be perfectly honest, I found it to be quite unpleasent. Yet still I write about it, using the experiences of others as a touchstone rather than my own.
Guest Mike256bit Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 Definitely agree. It's really unfair to ask that someone not express themselves based purely on experience. I started writing about sex because I'd never had it, mainly as a means to vent my frustration and desires. I'm sure glad no one asked me to wait until I actually had sex, otherwise I'd have probably lost my virginity far too soon. I'll share. I waited 19 years to finally do the do, and I'm really glad that I did. It was special, it made me feel all warm inside and crap, and I know it wasn't a mistake. I might have ruined my first time if I hadn't been allowed to write. So, no, it's not about asking people to have experience, it's really just asking people to be curious and bold enough to ask questions. Though, I completely take it all back in the case of people who think it's okay to go ass to vag. Hellllooo! UTI!

foeofthelance Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 Aye as a virgin who writes for the site (and if I remember correctly, there was an old thread before the move, where there quite a number of us.) I will stand for those who have no experience. The answer is research and quite a bit of it. Video, text, even audio in certain places makes it easier to write the story. But I've been told that what I write is rather good. The last person to critique one of my chapters had only one complaint: She wanted me to use cock more in the story, rather then member, when describing penises. (Peni?) Granted, my earlier chapters are ridiculous (as my girl friend has pointed out repeatedly {And yes, I can be on the site legally. Surprised?}) but that's only to be expected. Oh, and can anyone point out where I can find the original Grimm fairy tales? I keep finding the censored ones.

Gesp! ^___^ Honestly, though, I know quite a few virgins who can write awesome sex. They just need to know how to research what they'e writing. And not use porn cause... ew. No one sounds lke that in real sex and if they do they fail. "Oh yeah baby. Like that! Yes!" Badly scripted porn makes the baby pixie cry. As for the grimm fairytales, I used to actually have them. What do you need them for?
StoryJunkie Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 :: points. stares. :: I-i-t's you! :: gasp :: I though you had fallen into the oblivion that is the internet! Gesp!^___^ I concur! I thought: "surely, the bus of death must have finally hit his body and for once, it broke"
foeofthelance Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Huh. Didn't know I was that famous. Well, glad to be back. Now, can you tell me where I went? As for the porn, I don't pay attention to the dialogue. Half the time I mute it and listen to music. It's the physical details I'm paying more attention to. The real Grimm tales, I keep hearing about them. I keep trying to find them, but everything leads to either a censored version or a dead end. Sort of as if there was a conspiracy or something to keep me from finding them. Who knows, maybe my true destiny is foretold by Snow White, and this is how the forces of Darkness plan on keeping me from finding out. EDIT: Though apparently Storyjunkie remembers quite a bit about me. Now, does anyone know where Keith went?
Guest Evil_Labs Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 I think it's still going to take a while for people to trickle back onto the site and forums after the Dark Times. If his profile is still around, you might be able to send an e-mail, if that's enabled, though.
NinjaGaijin Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 As recently as a few hundred years ago in Europe, families were all living in very close quarters, children were treated as miniature adults, and it was very common to have discussions of graphic and violent sex around them, or to hear loud and clear what mum and dad were doing in the next room. Read Shakespeare. Read the unprettied version of fairy tales, where Sleeping Beauty was not kissed but raped, and ditto Red Riding Hood. OoT but... is what you say about the 'unprettied' fairy tales true? Got any evidence?
StoryJunkie Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Yeah, she didnt' even mention "Rumplestiltskin" EDIT: Though apparently Storyjunkie remembers quite a bit about me. Now, does anyone know where Keith went? (How could I forget the indestructable Reddragon/FoeoftheLance? You're the one who turned me on to the forum, dummyhead) Agaib sent him a nice little "Where are you, Keith?" and I sent a "Where the fuckareyou! Dumbass, the site is up." Funny, he has yet to respond. It has been a month now *sighs* I went to his elephantcity site and gazed at his collection of big women/amazon women magazine covers and became nostalgic. I hope he hasn't forgotten about us, or found some other (the horror!) place to post. My sister also mentioned that the original fairytales were more dire than the watered down version. When "The Little Mermaid" came out, I never heard the end of it. "Shes supposed to DIE and TURN INTO FOAM!" (although I believe "The Littlest Mermaid" was a Hans Christian Anderson production.)
foeofthelance Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 I did? Huh, kudos to me then. Still, any links to a site that might have them lying around? This has bugged the hell out of me, especially since a six hour Evangelion forum at the last Anime convention came up. Long story short, some odd compariosns to Asuka and the original Red Riding Hood. Anyway, hopefully I'll get the next three chapters to three of my stories done today, as well as a fourth I might post here (Forum wise, not threadwise.)
StoryJunkie Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Hans Christian Andersen and the Grimms brothers, as far as I knew, did not make up any of the stories that are attributed to them. What I heard, is that they interviewed a lot of people, determining to put onto paper the oral tradition of old wive's tales, which, I'm guessing, varied from household to household. If you examine the Greek myth Cupid and Psyche, there are a lot of parallels drawn to the Ukrainian tale of Vassilissia, who also had to gather up and separate several different kinds of grains and organize them before the end of the day. Many elements of stories from different cultures bear several marked similarities. The Chinese have a tale very similar to Cinderella, right down to the shoe. I'm figuring tales like "Snow White" were about real people that were somehow corrupted into legendary status, since I do know of a saint who is still, to this day, encased in a glass coffin, her body uncorrupted, awaiting, so to speak, the kiss of her prince (in this case, her Jesus). If you want to find these tales, however, I am hard-pressed to point you in any direction. Just keep your eyes and ears open.
foeofthelance Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Yeah, cultural diffusion's a blast, especially when its unexplainable. Anyway, thanks for the help. Just means another one of my mini-quests continues. Orignals-Erotica/Sex-Cheerleaders updated. Originals-Horror/Thriller-Dreams of Death updated. Movies-Star Wars-Stars of Glory updated.
