Searching for Xander fic

Hello,

Please help!! I am looking for a Xander fic where Xander’s dad beats him and he goes to Giles for help and eventually moves in and is adopted by Giles. Later he gets in a secret relationship with Spike. It is a series and Xander and Giles go to visit Giles’ parents in one part. That’s all I can remember but if you could help I would appreciate it. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

I remember that series. It was pretty long! The name of the series is Sands of Time and the first story in the series was Sandy Places in the Skin. I hope this helps!!
