A few friends who are authors here despises anonymous flames. In their minds anonymous flames is just a cowardly way of bashing someone's story and running.
I chatted with them and read their rants of how much they don't like them and how horrible they make them feel.
I agree if you want to tell a person why you think their story is not good have the moxie to place a username or contact info so the author can rebut the review.
I believe in constructive criticism. However, I dislike flamers.
For example, I read in someone's review recently.
I think your story needs improvement. The story is lacking and you have to check your grammar. I think you should get yourself a beta. A beta can help with your grammar and story. Your story needs something. It is a bit lacking. I am sorry this is not a flame this is to help you. Your story has lots of potential.
For me this is a constructive criticism and I do not erase these. These types of reviews help an author improve their stories. I also enjoy when a reviewer leaves contact info so I can maybe chat with them to get their ideas on how to improve my stories.
However when someone writes:
This is a review I read recently on an author's page that made me miffed. I reviewed for author to erase the flame and the author did. The author was hurt which I understand completely.
Your fic is stupid. I hate it. This fic is a bunch of rubbish. You should just erase it and stop writing. Your fic makes no sense at all you have no idea what you are writing about. Don't give up your day job. I think you should just read fics and never write again.
I think this is un-called for. In addition, after reading the author's stories it had no merit. This was just some mean jerk getting a thrill of making someone feel bad.
At the end of my chat with my friends. I just told them to let it go. If you get a flame erase it or activate no anonymous reviews.
I told them when it comes to flames I erase these type of reviews. I do not want to activate no anonymous reviews because some readers do not have accounts. However, I do troll my reviews and erase the ones I deem mean spirited.
Truthfully there will always be people who don't care for your stories. However, it's for yourself and the readers who enjoy your stories you continue to write for.
What do you all think about flamers?

I thought I would put both of the stories by the same author on a single post so I do not double post at this forum.
I started reading Saffron's stories escape to love and forsake all others when she first posted them. They are both Dramione and they are WIP. I would say they are Romance, comedy and mystery.
I am hooked the stories have a unique concept with twists. I love the humour in her stories. There is a lot of laugh aloud moments in these stories. There is a story to these fics. There is nothing wrong with just sex/smut I am all for it. However, this has a story before the sex, which I love.
The relationship between Draco and Hermione in Escape to love is so sweet yet complicated and the fact it is heating up is awesome.
The tension between Draco and Hermione in Forsake all others are wonderful. There are moments in the fic you do not know if you want to kiss Draco or bitch slap him.

Hi girl,
Well I am going through my stories and doing some touch ups. I am also fixing grammatical errors and the misspells on my own. Which I find is getting very easy since I have been reading up on Grammar.
Even my beta has been telling me that I make only a few minor mistakes. Flashback to when I first started Esacpe to love there were whoppers of errors.
So I am fixing the chapters and even adding things that I forgot add.
I hope you like the new and approved stories.

In the fic pansy has a problem with Blaise she asks Draco to help her.
Draco goes to a sex shop to his shock and delight Hermione is the clerk.
He asks Hermione for something for the libido. Hermione smirks he gets annoyed when he says it's for my friend.
She takes a jab at him saying that there is lots of things for your problem.
He again says it's not him for him but for a friend.

Hermione is dating Harry but she knows Harry is not faitful he is with Snape. Hermione stays with him even though she loves Draco.
Draco is shocked when Harry and Hermione get married and she is pregnant.
Draco tries to move on. Harry is still seeing Snape.
In the story Lucius finds out that Hermione's child is in fact Draco's and introduces him to him at the manor. when he shows Draco his new bride to be Hermione

I am looking for a beta for my Dramione fic "Foresake All Others" I have a beta but she is already working on my other fic Escape to Love, she says she might beta it but I don't want to stretch her thin.
I would like someone to straighten up the grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and if there is spots where you think should be fixed.
Please whoever wants to be my beta please understand I am no way a brilliant person so there will be mistakes but I will fix it myself before I send it your way.
Quick summary : Hermione becomes pregnant during the summer before seventh year, She knows who the father is but everyone else is in the dark.
This is not canon so people who are a stickler for canon this is not the fic for you.
