Thank you did as you Said and pop up is still happening I guess I will have to just bare with it. Thanks for your help. I hope with future updates maybe the pop will cease.
In IE, select Tools from the menu.
Select Internet Options from the dropdown
Click the Advanced tab
In the browser settings (next set of checked/unchecked boxes), make sure "allow 3rd party extensions" is checked.
As to the illegal tags, it's fairly common where a data insert was created by exporting a Word document to html. The cleaner utility will strip it out, you just have to be patient and let it do its job.

Okay I do not mean to seem like an idiot but how do I allow third party scripts? And what illegal Codes? I had no idea. I'm sorry but I am kind of an idiot when it comes to software and codes.

I did as suggested in tech support to help this problem I pressed stop it works for a bit but the pop up keeps coming up. It's really annoying. And than freezing and lagging is even more annoying.
I have a difficult time editing chapters. Everytime I edit an old chapter it constantly lags and freeze my computer. Before it freeze there is a popup that says the script is not responding,
POP UP SAYS:
Windows internet explorer
Stop running script?
A script on this page is causing internet explorer to run slowly.
If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive
and than it does become unresponsive
which makes it so much harder to edit a chapter than with the old editor.
I am using HP Vista and I am using Internet explorer I even uploaded firefox but even with that I have the same problem.

If the cookies refuse to clear still, you're going to have to delete the history, the cookies, all of it. COMPLETELY clean it up using the tools menu.
Here's the other thing that you should do, if the above does not work.
In your start menu, do the following..
control panel>Network and Internet Connections
click-Internet Options
The default open is to the "general" tab
In the section that says "Browsing History"
click Delete Files
This should delete all temporary internet data.
Now, if THAT doesn't work, one final thing to try
In the start menu, go to "My Computer"
Right click the displayed icon for your hard drive.
Scroll down, and select properties.
In the General tab, click Disk Cleanup
Where it selects files to clean up, TELL it to delete all temporary internet files.
After any of the tasks I've given, you must restart your machine to get the changes to take effect.
Now, if any of the above don't work, there is nothing else TO do, other than to change your browser. Should you do that, do NOT let your new browser import cookies from Internet Explorer, as that is where the problem is coming from to begin with. A corrupted cookie file.
I saw this reply to the same problem I am having. I did all you suggested even uploading a new browser firefox and I still can't get pass the page.

I have been trying for a while now to get past the birth date verification page. But every time I place my birth date and signature it clears and it won't get past that page. This has been happening for a week off and on for a minute at a time I can get past the page but again it doesn't allow me to pass the page.
I am not the only one a few friends have been having the same problem. We've been thinking maybe it's Maintenance but now I don't know what's going on?
Could someone maybe point me in the right direction.

I am DESPERATELY searching for two fics that are (or were) on AFF, unfortunately I don't remember the story titles or authors so I have a brief description of what I can remember below.
1) Draco & Blaise get covered in an unknown potion that Neville did that brought out their dormant Veela genes and now they have to find their mate which is Hermione & each other. Both Veela have to take a potion to help control their urges. Hermione goes undercover via Polyjuice to track down Draco to see what the Slytherins have planned to punish Neville with when Draco almost mates with her before being stunned and taken to the hospital wing where his Veela powers are going out of control. Their is even a chapter from Crookshanks POV.
2) Draco is a Veela, Hermione is his mate. Draco smells the most intoxicating scent on the train and he tries to narrow down who his mate is. He meets up with Daphne Greengrass in the Prefect Bathroom and runs into Hermione who is leaving. He once again smells the scent from the train and at first thinks its Daphne but realizes that he can't stand the smell of her sex which leads him to try to figure out who his mate is.
I hope that SOMETHING of these descriptions will ring a bell for someone. If so, please let me know ASAP as I have been searching for a while now for these stories.

I don't remember the pairing but I know Hermione is the female.
I think this story is either Remus/Hermione, Sirius/Hermione or Snape/Hermione
I do remember one part of the story and that's all I remember. In one part of the story Hermione and this person is dating and he takes her to see to try something new and go see a gigglo named Pablo or something like that. They have a threesome and he asks her how is she and he tells her coyly something like this is a one time thing.
I know this isn't a lot but I hope someone can help me find it.

In this fic Harry is hurt and in a coma so Dumbeldore asks Hermione to pretend to be Harry they use a potion and with the help of Remus pretends to be Harry.
She gets close to Snape who is loosing his mind he is falling in love with the person Harry is. He goes to Remus venting that he shouldn't be in love with Harry when Remus tells him he is relieved because it's Hermione he loves not Harry.
That's all I remember.

LOL I am sorry for typing it wrong. I had no clue I did that, my glasses broke so I used my old glasses. And at 5:00 am in the morning I was tired as hell so the keys looked the same when I posted this.
I should have spell checked.
Can't believe I typed his name wrong because Lucius Malfoy is one of my favorite characters of the book series.

Hermione finds out that Ron cheats on Hermione with Lavender and to her shock Lavender is pregnant and the way Ron treats Lavender is a way she never treated her when she was pregnant. Mrs. Weasley does not like lavender.
Hermione has two children Hugo and Rose and she goes to work at Hogwarts to get her mind off of Ron.
Ron doesn't think he did anything wrong he even let's Lavender move in when she goes to the house Lavender is there. When she asks what she's doing there she says I live there. Hermione says a spell and leaves.
Hermione gets to know Snape and to her shock Hugo and Rose do not blame Hermione they blame their dad and is supportive of her relationship with the Professor.
In the fic to the shock of everyone Hugo is not Ron's Snape is because during one of her done days when Ron was out with Lavender a while back Hermione went to a club and gets sloshed and have a one night thing with Snape.
Ron is heartbroken but understands why it happened because of him.
That's all I remember I hope somneone can help me.

Lucius takes Hermione out to buy some clothes that show cases her legs which Molly Weasley points out that he is a leg man.

I looking for this for a friend. I remember looking for this fic as well a while ago.
The story is about Snape who is now headmaster and gets an assistant when he finds out who he is he doesn't the idea until he see's the backside of the woman.
He has a thing for Marilyn Monroe the shape of old movie stars turn him on and this woman has it. To his shock it's Hermione Granger. He becomes angry at Licius for him not telling him how she has changed.

Licius finds out about the baby and decides to set things right and marry Hermione. When Draco sis told to get married he thinks he is marrying his girlfriend. But to his shock it's Hermione.

It's called she thinks : The wonders of polyjuie and how it could go wrong
It has Ron and Hermione as couple who use Polyjuice to spice up their sex lives. Hermione asks Ron to turn into Draco dressed up in the Slytherin quidditch uniform. Hermione waits behind the stands for him and they have sex. She realizes that she had sex with the REAL Draco after she runs into Ron after just left him. Hermione then kind of becomes obsessed with Draco after her experience with him. Draco on the other hand has problems of his own when one of his former conquests, Tracy, says she is pregnant with his baby. The real father of her child was Ron but she changed it to Draco using a potion that required a piece of Draco’s hair.
This fic use to be on fanfiction.net. I’m not sure if I just can’t find it, it was on another site or if it got deleted by the site or the author.

What really gets me are the flamers that FOLLOW a writer into a section, or sub section when they
- don't like the pairing type
- don't like the pair itself
- don't like the genre that's listed
Think about it. If the reader doesn't like that kind of pairing (you see it much more in the slash/femslash), then don't even go there. One doesn't have to be a damn brain surgeon to figure out that hey, don't like that sort of thing, so maybe, just MAYBE, I shouldn't click there, huh?
Then, there's the ones that don't like a pair that's listed, because they prefer another pair. Again, doesn't take too many brain cells to figure out that if you don't like the pair, then don't click the sub sub category. That, and don't go in there just to flame people for WRITING that particular pair.
Then you have genres. I expect we (my crew and I for clean up) will see more of this nature of flame review in Originals. Again, if you don't like a particular genre, then don't READ it. No one is forcing these people to look at what they don't like.
They do this just to get on the authors' nerves, and discourage them from writing in the first place I think. Because they're not writing what THEY want.
I have a very simple method of dealing with a story that does nothing for me, that I'm reading. I go on to something else. Not hard at all, huh?
I agree with you 100% if you don't like a pairing, genre than don't read it.
A friend sent me a review that made me laugh.

I nearly fell over laughing because my friend writes graphic stories with fetish, fem slash and in the Summary she writes a Warning of what her stories have in them.
I was like come on if you don't like it don't read open another page or something and "there is too much sex in them" Hello this is adultfanfiction if you don't like sex leave.

i read a story awhile ago probably a couple years ago now and can't get it out of my head. it stars hg and ss. ss is a special type of vampire. it was a longer story. ss instead of drinking blood he drinks blood replenishing potion. hg offers her blood to make it. after accidently cutting herself in his classroom. i dont remember much more just that i was in the middle of reading it and my computer crashed and i have never found it again. if any one has any idea please let me know it was such a good story i wish i could remember more of it

Yup it's the newest version and I restarted.
But honestly I am digging the new editor. yes the pop up does happen but after I press the yes to stopping script it only pops up every now and than. I am actually use to it and I am loving not having to code everything.
I no longer have a problem with the editor it is a time saver even with the pop up.
