That's the truth. I just follow the BDay's at HP lexicon. I don't remember if Draco's Bday was mentioned in the book, or many other characters besides Harry's, but HP lexicon had to get their dates from somewhere. Hopefully they're just the right, or close to the right, ones. XD

Stuff like that is a load of crud. I'd personally be happy to see people so inspired by my own writing to try and make their own scenarios with them. I know it's helped me to see how people feel about my writing and it also encouraged me to start trying to write my own book. I don't see who it really hurts. Fanfiction writers aren't trying to make money with their stories they're just trying to express their creativity and see how people react to the scenarios that they place familiar characters in. It makes me sick to see authors who don't let others try to raise their horizons by using familiar characters to raise their confidence in thier own writing skills. I mean I realize that it takes writers a while to create their own characters and problems for them to solve but ff. writers aren't making money off of it so I don't see the problem. Sorry for the rant.

I'd be one of the first people on line to get the book. As for all of the slash fiction...well that's what happens when all of the guys in the books are too HOT to resist.

I actually had a quick question too. Do the authors know that there's the section on here where they can post searches and challenges? Then again a lot of people take the easier way instead of the right way in doing things.
