Thanks for the replies and tips That's what I was afraid of. They aren't attached at all, it's two separate pieces of clothes. The top is more of a loose tube top, and the bottom is basically two strips of cloth worn as a pair of panties (like a side-tie bikini-bottom) which all stay on their place by either being tight at the right places or some good old gravity-defying magic. The reason I'm not saying "tube top" right away is because it doesn't fit in a high-fantasy setting like WoW.

Hello all, I'm new to the site, new to the boards and new to writing a story for publication on the internet. Right now I'm busy with a WoW-story and I've hit kind of a snag when describing somebody clothes. I'd like to hear your opinions on it. Now, what I'm mainly am worried about: can anybody picture what I just described? Is there perhaps a better word to describe the clothing she is wearing which I am unaware of?
