  1. I saved mine with the HTML codes as well as italizising and bolding, but I do a search find for the codes - i.e. < i > - and then replace all with a blank field, and it takes the codes out, but leaves the format. I do the same with the paragraph spacing - I search ^p^p and then replace all with only ^p

    Soldier Boy

Totally supposed to have a life of its own.
  3. Sorry - the reply is going to be short because my computer and this forum are NOT getting along. I feel like I'm on DSL again! Quiting smoking I think I've come through - Now, if a year from now I can remember how HARD it was to quit this time! (Quit cold turkey, no problem when I was younger. Not so this time. Used E-cigarettes until I didn't need those any more either.) If you can find my email in thath review response, I'll email you chapter 7/8 of my GGH. That should be a big enough dose of G/GH to last you for a while. Yes - take your time with your lemon. NO reason to rush it!

I know what you mean about uncomplete stories. Scrambling through websites hoping, someone has MORE CHAPTERS of certain stories...before I find out through the grapevine 'so and so didn't finish before the lost interest in the fandom ' GRRRR!!! I've tried posting stories several different ways - when I get a chapter finished, when I get a story finished, when I get stuck somewhere in the middle and need the feedback to continue. When I get a chapter finished – Anticipation was only supposed to be a two parter – max. Ended up the feedback I was getting kept propelling the story further than I had planned - and then, I either got sidetracked (because it wasn't supposed to be this long in the first place) or ran out of steam/inspiration for it. I feel bad about leaving all those folks hanging. Bad enough I think that is when I decided that (other than livejournal) I wasn't going to post a story until it was complete. That way I couldn't be persuaded to write more than what was intended, or change a story halfway through based on someone’s comments (glad my comment inspired you, btw,- it works for you! Go with it!), When I get a story finished – Man am I glad I didn’t start to post Chess until it was complete! I started writing it the same time I started writing Spiral…and didn’t complete it for four years. I can’t imagine how bad I’d have felt if I had had that hanging over my head. When I get stuck somewhere in the middle – I started posting Idomu at a different website when I got stuck at chapter 13 and needed some feedback. I’m glad I didn’t begin to post at AFF until it was nearly complete because I received a less than complementary review. If I’d received Enslavement_Thesis’s comment in Idomu before it was finished, I don’t know that I would have ever finished that story. And it wasn’t even a flame! They didn’t completely understand what had been written, because they were too focused one what they knew of RL to realize I’d made provisions for what she was commenting on. Yep – way too sensitive for a writer. *sighs* I’ll try to find a way to email you – in the mean time, you can find my email address in my response to Enslavement_Thesis in the Idomu reviews.
  5. If you go to forum news, you'll see that AFF is going to have to do some hardware upgrades. I'm certain this has something to do with your issues with AFF. Either it hasn't taken place yet, or they're smack dab in the middle of it. I tried to link you to the forum post several times, but between the website and my computer, I had to shut down IE in order to even progress, so I'll have to ask you to search out that thread on your own. Sorry. Ah - posting lemon's still makes me nervous! Especially if they haven't been beta'd - which my insistantly more and more odd pairings makes it more difficult to find beta's willing to follow a story all the way through. *sighs* Unfortunately, what I've been working on the last few...well, weeks, months is RL stuff. Like, quiting smoking, losing the weight I had lost before I quit smoking, trying to keep my head above water at work...none of which are really condusive to fanfiction writing. Well, the working out can be, I get some great ideas while on the elliptical...but currently, they just seem to be staying as ideas.... I'm just really happy I seem to be back in a space where I can sit down at the computer and read something someone else wrote - and glad to find DBZ fanfiction I'm enjoying reading! Wow - DBZ yaoi is up to 55 pages at AFF? I remember when I first found out about DBZ fandom - I did the same exact thing - read through all the V/G or G/V fics I could find. I think I attempted the read everything, but there were some pairings (at the time, and could still be true) I just had not desire to read. Look at me ramble!
  6. Let's start with one question, and see if I can't get you to talk more about the story. Is the reason there's hardly any talking between Vegeta and Gohan because it's all instinct? Like the story title suggests? Or just how it ended up working out between your muses? And if I didn't state it before, I really like the fact that Vegeta keeps taking Gohan's glasses off, and Gohan finally got the message to keep them off.

    Soldier Boy

You might be surprised how this multi-chapter Goku/Gohan was inspired. I have another fanfic I’ve been working on FOR YEARS – unfortunately it’s a little too RL to just willy-nilly post – or at least it is supposed to be more realistic. So, I have that other too-serious-story going, and one of the things coming out of the UST in it is Goku or Gohan fantasies. Soldier Boy started out as one of that-particular-story’s-Gohan’s fantasies – and then grew to 9+ chapters. In this particular case, the Gohan from the other story was trying to find a way to make it…reasonable for Goku to realize he found Gohan attractive in a sexual matter. Thus a fantasy, thus a one timer, that then begged for so much more I couldn’t tell it no. O.o My muses might just perpetuate themselves if I’m given enough breathing room. Now I understand why they call them plot bunnies. o.O Scary.
  8. I'm becoming frustrated with this forum. Every 3 seconds it is updating something and causing buttons to move on the screen so you miss what you were aiming for. That, and the extremely long scroll down just to get to the gist of the new message! GRRRR! No - signatures do NOT have to be that long or on the side bar- I know, I'm in other forums. *le sigh* Sorry about the rant. The better thing is, I can put a watch on subjects and receive an email. Like I did for this and Soldier Boy. Anyway, How long have you been in the DBZ fandom? I know there are tons of work you may like if you haven't been in for long. Personally, I (more than) like this kink (when applied to saiyans/demis), so I'd have to agree with you on the 'hotness' level. If you can find it in time, I put the a link up for the DBZ Fanfiction Salon, which was then (Correctly) moved to The Great Wall in this forum, because it is[/i promoting another website/forum and not an information place. You should go check that out if you're new to the fandom. You might find more folks with similar interests. You'll have to pardon me - I just got home from a trip, catching up on emails and still have tons of laundry to wash. O.o Slightly distracted would be a nice way to put it.
  9. http://s8.invisionfree.com/DBZ_Fanfic_Salon/ So you've just gotten into the DBZ fandom when it seems like things are cooling off? How about trying to connect with other fans here?

    Idomu

So, there are many, many reviewers for Idumo I haven't had a chance to personally respond to. Here's the place I'll do it. Hopefully folks will stop by and check it out. Jade - O.o If the muses whaped me upside the head with another epic like this one, I would write it! Of course, fear of having to write another epic might be cutting those muses off. It does take a lot of energy. I can say your idea sounds interesting, but it isn't something I'm going to be able to write either. I hope the muses settel it out and you're able to put it into words. Kanashana - not to be too boastful, I think this story should have a ton more hits here as well. I did post this at SJS - I received over a hundred reviews for it there. I think the pairings truely scare people off before they ever give the story a chance. I can't say as I blame them, and that really is why I gave all the warnings I did. I'm really glad you enjoyed reading the story. Viandra - I think if more people saw Gohan as I do, there'd be more love for his character. I think he got short changed because the fans didn't want him to take over, so Akira had to change route mid-planning. Personally, I don't think he could have carried the show like Goku did, but I also don't think he needed to be made such a clown to pull focus off of him either. Phew! I think my Gohan rant is done now. (Where did that come from?_ Any way, thank you for giving this story a chance, and when you found you actually did have an appreciation for it, leaving a review. I greatly appreciate them. E_B_Midnight - I have a stalker! YAY!!!!! Okay - seriously, thank you for reading this extremely long story and loving it and leaving a review. It made my day! Now - if you all like epics and haven't had a chance to read Pixelgoddess's Maintaining and Quest, I really really recommend you do! That should keep you all occupied for at least a month!
  11. Fen-crya pointed out that I'd forgotten one of my usual warnings for my stories for this one. I fogot to add 'random Japanese terms'. *sighs* I will go add that now.
  12. Not exactly twinscest. Self-secst? I don't know, playing with time gets confusing about two steps into it. At least, for me. http://anime2.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=29503 Discuss this story here!

  15. I guess, technically, I should have put this story here. http://anime2.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600022825 Enjoy!
  16. I'm fairly tunnel visioned on the DBZ fandom. I strayed to the Saiyuki fandom for a bit. So, I'm not well versed, but round robins seem to peter out before they can say 'The End'. So - what fandoms (and links) can you say you've seen finished round-robins?
  17. http://anime2.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=600020319 Discuss this story here. Personally - years after the fact and there still isn't another DBZ round robin? Not that I'm interested in running it, but I'd be interested in seeing it.
  18. http://anime2.adult-fanfiction.org/story.php?no=544177443 Yeah - despite the title it is not a vampire fic. Discuss this story here.
