Hello there! I'm hoping some folks here could help me out. I'm running the following survey, which is open for all fans who participate in some way in a band/musician fiction community (you write it, you read it, run a community, etc.) It doesn't matter what kind of music or who the musician is--all of your input is desired and I'm trying to get as wide a range of communities as possible. If you don't understand a question or terminology, don't stop or feel like you have to look stuff up--I would like your first impressions, how you would answer these questions based on your familiarity with these terms and ideas now. For each question, just choose the option that best fits you (and feel free to leave additional comments if you like.) The results of this survey work, when completed, will be posted to http://community.livejournal.com/fanthropology, which is a board that focuses on the study of fandoms.
