(For my story Saying Goodbye) wonderful retelling of a horrific events. It was a tear jerker and awakened some memories of my own but i understand your reason for writing it and will commend you it was a great adaptation of the characters. Moving and overall a great work. I enjoyed it even though it brought me to tears at the beginning remember the event myself. I am very proud of that review because it showed that I managed to pull at the emotions that I wanted to in that particular fic. Actually I am proud of all of my reviews for that fic. I would rather have people leaving me a review like that then: 'Love it, write more!' If that is all I get out of a fic then I know my story has gone awry somewhere. *shrugs*

Don't kill me! OK I started hunting though the Male/Male section of Naruto (Looks innocent...) and actually cataloging the stories and pairings I have found... I won't list all of them (With some I have only found one story in the pairing), but I will list the largest of them (Five or more stories) that are not already Sub Cats: Gaara/Naruto Sasuke/Neji Shikamaru/Naruto Neji/Naruto Shino/Kiba Orochimaru/Sasuke Zabuza/Haku Itachi/Naruto Orochimaru/Kabuto Kiba/Shikamaru I've only managed to fully catalog about... 27 pages since last night. Is it headache season? I ask this because I have had one for the past few days as well. Since you know your blood sugar is low you might want to keep some glucose tablets around, not the best way to keep it straight, but maybe it will help enough to let you eat something. Prescription meds don't work on me, oddly enough Excedrine Migraine does... esp if I top it off with a benadryl... then again with that combo maybe it works cause it knocks me out. *hugs* Good luck not killing idiots and getting rid of your headache. (Ack just remembered something from Massage School... *oi give me a break it's been 9 yrs since I had that class*) If you have someone there with you, or can get someone over to your place, have them take a towel or pillow case, roll it up, then place it under your neck, you relax while they pull it up and away from you slowly.

I should have been a bit more clear I think. I still have my original beginning and my original story. The problem was she took my beginning, warped and twisted it, then used it for her story.

I was recently bitten by a dark muse, not overly dark but dark none the less. After my friend read it (she's also my coauthor on some stories and beta for many) she felt bitten by it and ASKED to play in my world... not a problem, it doesn't have the same characters as mine and will be a whole different story, so I gave her permission. The problem came when my second beta took my world and twisted it into a sick sick place. In my world pets are the norm; when I say this most will think it's sexual, but pets are used for many different reasons in my world. Yes it CAN be sexual, but they can also be companions. *shakes head* Back to the reason I am ranting, She took my intro and basically reworded it for her story and turned it into BDSM! I have nothing against BDSM, I have friends in that life style and I have written that, the major problem I have is her putting three year olds into a BDSM ORPHANAGE! I asked her why... her reason? They can only be subs until they are of age... WTF!?!?! (Yes I have a major problem with pedophilia) (She also doesn't see how she took my intro... *sighs*) I have my friend who asked telling me to start posting my story now (even though it is unfinished and was originally going to be posted as a long one-shot.) *winces* I am undecided as to what to do at this point. I do not want her to post hers and then for people to point out that mine is similar to hers when mine is the original. So to those who take the time to read this... let me know what you would do? I know very little about the Naruto Het, but am well aware of most of the Naruto Yaoi pairings (here and in general) As soon as I saw appropriate Sub/Sub cats I moved mine and had my closest friends move theirs as well. *closes eyes and thinks* I started off by watching a FanSubbed eps of Bronze (note: this was more than 10 yrs ago!) Then I helped several of my pen pals edit and color their Sailormoon Yuri... But other than that... I didn't even realize fan fiction existed until 4-5 years ago when I went in search of something to fill the HP void. I stumbled across Spinner's Blind as a Bat story and though I was slightly squicked by the fact that it was Snarry, I read it and was hooked. *winces* Sadly the last book killed all joy I had for anything HP, including writing. Since I had been force fed Naruto at this point (I have a teenage daughter... so yes I was force fed Naruto) I went in search of some good Naruto Yaoi... I'm glad I did as my muses came back to me and I have been writing again (though no SasuNaruSasu... because... well, there is just SO MUCH out there!)

My co-authors and I were talking about this the other night. We only write male/male and where I am the one most likely to break off into another fandom, the other two are (thus far) pure Naruto writers. (We write separately and together) So for that section (at least) Dark: Many hits Many reviews Crack: Many Hits Many reviews (I was floored when our Giant Penis crack!fic got so many hits and reviews) Angst: Very few hits and even less reviews (Reviews usual center on how well or how poorly written the story is) PWP: (Depending on the pairing) Decent amount of Hits and an ok amount of reviews Fluff: just above angst, a few hits and a few reviews. I think that the WTF factor in the crack fics compel people to say something, if nothing more than 'You seriously need sleep and meds.' As per the dark... well we all have a bit of inner darkness... And PWP... well who doesn't like smut?
