It's nice to see Tsukihime and FSN get their own sections, and even nicer to see another Tsukihime fic: Fire and Ice by Sigfried. Does anyone know where this Type-Moon lemon contest was?

A good filtering/organization system can get around the problem. Unfortunately, AFF's organization scheme is... not very well done. Also, the effective and consistent use of tags - I'm also sick of the sea of yaoi in AFF, but it doesn't annoy me so much when the authors actually tag it such so that I can avoid it. The use of tags really needs to be enforced, though, as there are cases when you can run into an unpleasant surprise with no warning from the summary.

I just updated this with a new chapter. The last chapter was overly long and detailed, so one thing I concentrated on was to shorten and tighten up the writing for this chapter. Everything is a lot more concise. I'd like some feedback on how that worked out, what worked, what didn't.

My first two stories, "Interruption to a Bath," and "Snooping Around Pays Off," both had horrible titles. Not just because they're blatant porn titles, but just horrible in general. However, I guess I didn't really care enough about the titles to try to think of better ones. My stories are mainly porn with plot, after all, so the title is not going to add some deep literary meaning to the story.
I guess in AFF, I see the title more as a part of the advertisement of the story, instead of an important part of the story itself. I just put up whatever I think adequately describes the story in a few words, and be done with it. I prefer titles that tell me at least partly what to expect in the story, instead of single-word ones that only have a deep meaning if you understand the context. Of course, I'm guilty of the latter myself, with titles like "Wish of a Red Moon" or "Garden of Thanatos," which you wouldn't understand unless you already know the source material quite well.

Kagetsu Tohya is more of a fun disc than a direct sequel. The events of the main story are just fun whatifs that the writer thought would be cool to throw the characters into. If you enjoy adult fiction, though, the Flower of Tganatos sidestory from Kagetsu Tohya and the Ren H-scenes are worth checking out.

If you want even more confirmation, most all hentai games are written in first person present tense. And those are just adult fiction, without the fan part. So it's a method that has been known to work well throughout an entire industry.

Type-Moon, for those who don't know, is a visual novel studio, most famous for its debut amateur work Tsukihime in 2001. It was adapted to a 12 episode anime in 2003. More recently, their second visual novel, Fate/stay night, was also adapted to an anime, a 24 episode one.
Both Tsukihime and FSN were text-heavy H-games, with 5 and 3 routes, respectively. Tsukihime is a semi-horror fantasy about vampires in a modern Japanese city. FSN also takes place in a similar setting, but is more action fantasy oriented. It's about a "war" between mages and their "servants," who are familiars, heroic spirits from another era.
I only know of two Type-Moon stories on this site. One is a FSN story, while the other is Garden of Thanatos, a Tsukihime story by me.
So, any other TM fans out there?

What I find confusing is the seeming lack of any correlation between the number of ratings and number of reviews. One of my stories has exactly 7 of each, while another has 21 ratings with 11 reviews. Then another one has more ratings, 27, but much fewer reviews, 4.
Maybe it evens out over a larger sample size, though.

I get a lot of my ideas from H doujin that I read. All my stories are porn first, plot later, so it works out (although not all of them are PWP, the plot act mainly as vectors for the porn in the ones that have plot). I look at what I find particularly hot or arousing, and see if I can merge and incorporate them into the scenes I write.

Summary: This is a multi-chapter on-going fanfic that plays on the "Flower of Thanatos" sidestory from Kagetsu Tohya, the sequel to Tsukihime. It uses the setting from that story, although more characters from the Tsukihime universe are introduced. It can be pretty accurately be considered PWP, although I do have an overarching plot that slowly unfolds throughout the chapters.
I'm 6 chapters in, and so far, it involves the protagonist and lone male, Tohno Shiki, having sex with Arima Miyako, Kohaku, Hisui, Seo Akira, Misawa Hanei, or some combination thereof. About half the scenes involve 3 or more people.
Feedback: Please, anything would be nice. Since there is no Tsukihime or Type-Moon section under anime, I've put this story in the "Misc" section, which gets almost no hits. The story's over half a year old, and just recently broke 1000 hits.

So, no posts yet in this subforum. I thought it'd be nice to list some of our favorite stories on this site (specifically, the anime section of course) that involved threesomes or moresomes, just so there's something here. I'll start.
Weapon of Mass Destruction (Love Hina, by thebigW)

Unfortunately, those are about all I can name, mainly because I'm not familiar with most of the fanbases that are popular on this site, and also because I only read the "good kind" of three/moresomes. In other words, anything with more than one M and it ain't passing through my eyes.
So let's see how long it takes before the first reply. I've written a few stories with three/moresomes myself, and if you like them, feel free to mention it.

I only post stories here, but that's only because I know of no other adult fanfiction archives other than this one. Not even an anime-specific one. All these acronyms y'all are throwing around are Greek to me.

I rather enjoy it, but that's likely because I spend almost no time doing deep edits. I just check for spelling, grammar, and the flow of each paragraph as well as the flow between paragraphs. It allows me to reread the whole work and to enjoy the fruits of my labor somewhat.
After all, when I'm writing for this site, I'm doing it for fun, not for money, not to win an award, not to get a good grade. I'm just trying to tell a story I have in my head, and if it's too hard to make it a literary masterpiece, why do it? Plus, let's face it: having perfect grammar would already place your story in the 95th percentile of the stories on this site. Having near-perfect grammar would probably put it at least in the 80th.

From the recent series Minami-ke, the addition of the 'Minami brothers' ruins the show a bit by taking away valuable screen time from the main cast, the three Minami sisters Haruka, Kana, and Chiaki. Less useless boys plz. I don't see how they contribute to the series.
Anyone here watch Minami-ke too, btw?
I watched it, loved it, and yes, the Minami brothers were overall pretty pointless. Disappointing, because the other male characters are what make the show so great: it would be pretty flat without Mako-chan's sexual identity struggles, Fujioka's interactions with Kana, and Hosaka's insanity.

the layout of this forum is definitely among the best I've seen. Very clean and easy to read and to find the buttons you need. One question though, is it possible to auto-subscribe to a thread to which you leave a reply? I see an email notification option, but no add-to-subscriptions one.

I've tried it and believe it should be legal. People more eloquent than I have written volumes about why, but pretty much, I believe the government has no business telling people what they are or not allowed to do to themselves or other consenting adults.
I used to smoke heavily and still do on occasion. This very website becomes a lot more enjoyable when high. The stories take on another layer of palpability that makes it really easy to be immersed into them.

Summary: The main reason I'm putting a promotion here is because I just added the 4th chapter to this story. It is by far my longest and most conversation-heavy chapter, so I wanted to receive some feedback on how it worked out. The main story is pretty much straight-up porn, as it's meant to be, centering around a relationship between Kanako and Keitaro. The latest chapter involves Haruka. There are no real spoilers other than the fact that Keitaro actually has a little sister, which was a bit of a surprise towards the end of Love Hina.

Well, the first one about the bunny definitely SOUNDS cliché... and that is usually a bad thing. What is the... Rabbot's (that is very cliché, the whole half-robot thing... it usually doesn't work out unless it's for practical reasons) emotions as it's doing the dirty deed with it's friend?
Well, Bunnie Rabbot IS a half-robot half-rabbit in the Sonic comic and Sonic SatAM canon. Cliche or not, that's who the character IS.

Suzaku from Code Geass. His overall idiocy throughout the show is too great to sum it up in one post. He could've been an excellent foil to Lelouch, but his unrealistically selfish and naive character ended up being one of the thousand cuts that killed the show by the second half.

It's really hard to vary the terms without going into stuff that sounds stupid and/or will just make you laugh out loud. That's partially why I just use the easiest word, "penis," in almost every instance.

Well, Fate/stay night anime was fairly big, but the Tsukihime anime wasn't, so much. And H-games simply aren't all that popular in the west. As such, it makes sense that not a lot of western fiction writers are going to write about it.
However, as a shameless plug, I did recently write a Tsukihime fic, Garden of Thanatos, that I put on the Misc section - I believe it's the second Type-Moon fic in that section.
With the Fate route of the FSN game translation patch recently being released and with the Kagetsu Tohya English patch upcoming, hopefully we'll see more, enough to create a Type-Moon section.

I'm usually not a fan of people pimping out their stories just for the hell of it, but I guess I don't feel guilty about this because (1) this subforum is dedicated to just that, (2) almost no one sees this section anyway, and (3) the Miscellaneous section of the anime section gets almost no views either.
Anyway, I recently posted up my 3rd story, Garden of Thanatos, based on Tsukihime, and specifically the Flower of Thanatos sidestory from Kagetsu Tohya. The following is the synopsis I posted, and should give you enough basic info:

This is as-of-yet a one-shot between Majiru and Hikikomori-tan that one night in episode 4 where they were alone. I do have ideas about it going on and such, but as of yet, nothing doing. Anyway I had fun writing this, so I hope those who read it will do so as well.
