The only positive about Richard is that he was 96, so at least he was able to live a long life, unlike pretty much everybody else that’s died this year.

I know only too well what your trip to Span was like, because I do stuff like that every summer. lol  And I only want to visit snow, I sure as hell don’t want to live in it!  You can keep all that crap to yourself. lol

I would truly love to see and feel snow one day, to be able to frolic in it, right up until I thought “this is fucking insane, I want a heater!” and then go back inside.  And yep, Newcastle is in Australia, but we don’t have the same accent as the UK Newcastle. ;-)  Oh and last night was the hottest December night in at least 150 years.  [start sarcasm]Yippee![end sarcasm]

It is summer here.  And yes, plenty of people do still decorate things with fake snow.  I pity the poor bloody Santa’s that still have to dress up like it’s the Antarctic.  No, it never snows where I live.  I’ve never seen snow before.  It can drop down to zero or even below a little bit but only over night.  It’s never – and never would – drop down to zero during the day.  Oh, and by zero I mean 32F.  A maximum daytime temperature of 10C (50F) would be a freakishly freezing cold day.  I live about 2 hours north of Sydney, in case you’re wondering, near Newcastle, so it’s certainly not tropical weather here – that’s about a thousand kilometres north of me.
