Oh, he does such a good job there. But so, so sad. If only we could write RL into the way it should be and make it happen.

I totally agree!!!!  It was horrifically sad!  There are a number of points about the movie that got me because I have a lot of gay friends, many of whom I served in the military with.  So, this movie hit me from a lot of directions. 

My excitement is that I didn't even know about this movie.  I stumbled on it today and had to watch it.  I'm slowly collecting all of Lee Pace's movies, there aren't that many.
