Well it's snowing and I set up the Christmas/New Year tree, it's official, the holiday season is upon us.

I just got finished with the first edit on Loving Sarajevo. It consumed my life for the past two weeks so I was happy to finish it and send it off last night. Like, so happy I may have cried a little. I thought I’d get to write today. I was so excited only to wake up and have the editor for Backdoor Politics message me to tell me to expect the first edits on that story soon. My life is a never ending loop of editing hell.

Hmm, anyone know if the TSA is going to find it suspicious that three adults are traveling abroad for a week with only one suitcase between them and said suitcase is full of empty duffle bags?

Two maybe three days in a cabin in the mountains with only a generator for electric, no internet, no running water and ten people with penises that call you a whiner when you complain about having to pee outside...Yeah, I just can't wait.

I was going to update Backdoor Politics today but time got away from me. Would it be too much if I updated two stories in the same day since I have a schedule to keep on one of them? *giggles and ducks the rotten tomatoes*

VACATION starts tomorrow!! Tomorrow at this time I shall be basking in the sun on a sandy beach. Now if only everything I needed to get 7 people through 12 days would just pack itself, I'd be in heaven.

Nothing makes you appreciate the level of civilization in your homeland than visiting another less developed country. The beaches were amazing but it's nice to be home again. Now if only the mountain of laundry full of sand would only do itself, I could actually do some writing.

So I'm looking through vacation photos and I just realized that when we stopped in Dubrovnik on our way home, my two teenagers spent the entire time there taking pictures of places they were sure Game of Thrones was shot so I have tons of pictures of brick walls...

I have put a ban on any channel that might show the orange menace’s face for the entire weekend. I’m going to pretend the world stopped on the 19th and live in my little bubble until it pops, until then I will be watching a marathon of cartoons with the kids. That is all.

Well Christmas is finally over now time to gear up for New Year's which here is a bigger holiday than Christmas. Got to go shopping for New Year's presents and redecorate the tree... at least it keeps me busy.

My two youngest just left for Skola u Prirodi, which means 4 days of peace and quiet...except for the 20 phone calls a day that I'll get from each of them updating me on everything they do. Should be able to get a little writing done tho...

Finished the mega edit on FFH! Thanks to everyone who responded to my call for betas but I have enough readers for it now. Now let’s all cross our fingers that it’s good enough for someone to publish it. Back to writing the weird and wacky now...
