Okay, final post before I give you a specific date, but just wanted to let everyone know Chapter 20 will be done this week. That's a promise. Saturday at the ABSOLUTE latest. It's closing in on the end (it's a rather long one) but it's needed.
As for it ending in a cliffhanger...let's just say that, if it does, it will be nowhere near as big as Chapter 19

Halfway done! Nice, long, relaxing weekend to write so hopefully I'll make some serious headway. The first part of this chapter took a little longer because (well, okay the exam, but ASIDE from that...) it dealt with some really personal feelings that I experienced when I lost my friend and bringing them up...wasn't easy. Second half should be easier, though, so I'm writing like a madman.

Hey guys. Just an update: I was able to get a nice big chunk of writing done this weekend, but I decided to extend the chapter just a bit more. I realized that, if I released it as it was, the next chapter was going to be criminally short. So I'm taking a little more time to extend it. You guys are saints to be so patient and I'm sorry to ask you to wait just a bit longer but I promise, cross my heart, that I'm working to get it done soon. After this chapter, things will be smoother with release dates. Just trying to get back into the swing of it and getting used to my new job is...well, wonky.
I know, excuses excuses. I'm getting back to writing so I can get it out this week. That I DEFINITELY want to accomplish. This week.

Itd be a good way to make a profit for free work, or rather not doing free work.

It's just a game of nerves. I sometimes think some of the writers here have stock in nerve/ulcer medicine plants.
Many of us keep bugging authors of "works in progress". Just shows them that their work is appreciated.

Weve waited this long, what harm is a few more days(or weeks. Months and it might be harmful)

Unfortunately, at this point, I'm not exactly sure of when the next chapter will be done. I'm closing in on finishing one-third of it so hopefully soon but it just depends on how much I can get done per day. When I have more definite answers, I will let you all know right away.

one thing about writing chapters like this, something usually comes up that is inevitably more important and needs to be taken care of immediately, to even try to keep a definite timeline is totally unrealistic for anyone to even try to consider or demand. Write at the pace that works Jashley, we'll be here patiently waiting.

Still no comparison to the wait for the next season of Game of Thrones... or the wait the fans of The Walking Dead had to endure this past hiatus.

Congrats on the exam. Don't rush the chapters, keep them the quality that you've gotten us all addicted to, there is a lot to be said about quantity over quality, I'd hate to see the storyline suffer because you rushed them, take your time, and do em up right, we'll all be here eagerly awaiting.

Passed the exam with flying colors now time to get back to writing. I have a LOT of time to make up for lol

Exam is scheduled for this Saturday. Fingers crossed I pass it the first time and then I can get back to writing After a stiff drink of course lol

I am working on it as much as I can. I have a big exam to study for that is required to keep my current job so, for the time being, I'm focusing on that. Once that is complete, I can devote all my energy to the next chapter

Few are worth the eagerness of waiting... this one is definitely one of them. Can't wait, but, understand that real life has to come first. Hope things work out ok for Kayla and Jack, would hate to see that go to crap on us.
