I totally agree with those points. I cannot stomach fics with really graphic abuse scenes in them, especially ones with really graphic rape. It frustrates me that many authors who do write that have Harry getting over it practically overnight.My best friend has been in that situation and has taken years to get over flinching at the sight of men. It's just not something that goes away ever. Bugs me more is that some of the fics I've come across won't even have a warning about the scene. There will be fanfic fans who have been in these situations and could easily get a flashback by some of the more sicking fics
