I don't know, for me it's weird. I'll see a story on, like, ff.net with 100+ reviews, and I'll barely be able to get through the first chapter because the writing's so poor and formulaic. I don't even mind a recycled plot/setup that you see in dozens of stories as long as the author is a good writer and is doing something fresh with it. But when I see that, it sort of makes me feel a little defeated? Because I feel like, "man, I'm a better writer than this and my much longer story has WAY fewer reviews..." So I kinda wonder what I'm doing wrong. I do appreciate ppl taking the time to drop even "keep it up!" or something, but of course I do prefer more thoughtful reviews.

Hi, everyone! I'm new around here, and I've just started posting my Sons of Anarchy fic, Come With Me Tonight. The title is not a pun! It's currently a WIP, and at this point it's novel-length, so it's really something to sink your teeth into. (also not a pun!) It's an alternate timeline/au/sort-of-fix-it fic that starts early in season 2 and goes beyond season 6. And, yup, I've changed some events along the way. Author: copperleaves (hey, that's me!) Hi, everybody! My name's Meg, but I go by copperleaves both here and on aff.org. These days I'm writing for Sons of Anarchy, but I've also got a Supernatural (Megstiel) fic I've been posting over there, and I still write Supernatural sometimes. I have 3 cats and a dog, I can enthusiastically talk about art for hours, and in addition to writing I also make graphics and gifsets for the fandoms I'm in. Actually, I usually either write OR make gifs, so like for Hannibal I do gifsets all the time but I have no real desire to write Hannibal fic. Um, anyway. I live in NC and I'm basically spending my summer bouncing from one concert to another.
