Wow, I am glad I discovered OpenOffice likes to randomly change row heights on tables BEFORE I presented my final project to the rest of the class...

Uh, OpenOffice had a mass migration in about 2010 of most of their developers when the sponsor was talking of charging and other issues. Because of that, there are few updates and patches. The devs moved to LibreOffice, which has much more frequent updates. The two apps are still very similar and use the same files, so the tansition is pretty clean.

I switched over to LibreOffice myself, since Word pisses me off endlessly.
