Decided to make one of those tumblr things the kids these days are talking about. I've got some drawings on there, and as of this arvo, some photos of a cute lizard, just because. Just spent two hours in a lecture about kangaroo uteri, and accompanying structures. This is my life right now.

A bunch of little background details I wrote months and months ago are demanding to have their own subplots. I just, don't even. Guh. Can you give me a break plot bunnys? I have other shit to do right now.

A crested pigeon just laid an egg on my doorstep (literally my doorstep) and flew off. Huh.

Where did all these feels come from? I could swear I plotted this out to be a fluff chapter

Guh! Two subjects down, one to go. I can't wait for uni break.

I caught myself a shiny Mightyena in pokemon x today. I don't even care that it's useless, this game is awesome.

Finally got around to making a half way presentable avatar for myself. Probably the most productive thing I've done all break, sad to say.

I can't believe I've been working on off on this chapter since may! And I started this story two years ago! Why can I never get anything done at a reasonable pace? Seriously, I write a lump of 7000 words in a sitting, but in five months I can't write a thing that actually moves the story forward. I have got to make a schedule or something or I'll never get anything done.

Arg, anything I try to write is MELODRAMA! Why?

Urgh. Finally got my mid semester assignments done. Now I've only got a tonne more which are harder, and the uni in their infinite wisdom decided to put the mid semester break back in week four before we even got the assignments, so no break for me this term :/ Of course now the creative gods decided to throw me a little inspiration for MBWLAYWGS. I think I'm gonna be up all night writing this down, if I can coax it out of my head that is.

I promised myself I wouldn't go back and rewrite things until the fic was finished over all, but everytime I look at the first chap of MBWLAYWGS it keeps getting worse and worse. I don't think I can resist the compulsion. Must... Nitpick... GAH! I'm never going to get anything finished at this rate.

Finally got my new aquarium set up! Mum seems impressed and Dad is begrudgingly realizing that the floor is not going to collapse and the circuit breaker is not going to burst into flame. I can't wait for my new plants to arrive in the mail.

Getting myself a new aquarium this week. I'm stupidly excited already!

The new rainbows are refusing to eat anything that isn't either a bloodworm or soaked in garlic. I think the wierdest part is that I'm starting to like the smell.

Now I remember why I never wanted a deviantart. I was excited to use an art forum to exchange ideas and feedback and what did I get? A bunch of elitist trolls who calls anyone who follows the etiquette rules a "n00b", throw foul insults at anyone who asks them to be polite and generally stomp all over anyone trying to have an honest to god discussion. There were good people buried under there somewhere I'm sure, but heavens above! Does that place not even have moderators?

The fish aren't here yet, and I have to work tomorrow, sigh. I've written *detailed* instructions on what to do and masking taped them to the top of the fishtank, along with the necessary equipment. Lets hope that Dad can actually be bothered to read and follow them.

I just ordered myself some new fish! Haven't heard back yet but I'm already pretty excited..

Wow, being the easter bunny is even more fun than waiting for it! I don't know why I haven't started doing this years ago... oh yeah, I remember now, SLEEP!

OMFG, LEECHES! LEECHES EVERYWHERE! They're crawling through the grass like a horde of blood sucking, hungry ants and showering down from the trees like droplets of black, squriming, biting rain! I don't like nature anymore, please take me home now!

Uni provides epson expression XL scanner for student use, free of charge and on a self serve basis. 18 years of drawing has culminated in this moment and thank goodness it did, I don't think my battered ego could take publishing another crappy photo of my art. Time to make a deviantart account.
