  1. I seem to have missplaced that one. In it Draco tries to embarrass Harry, Draco has an unrequited crush on Severus and eventually he comes on to Severus dressed in bad drag - Sev tells Harry to take pictures whilst under the invisibility cloak so has photographic proof of dracos horrible failure. Any ideas where this might be? Thanks in advance!
  2. Slytherins are not evil... they are, however, annoying as hell! Reason why I love Ravenclaw!Harry stories.
  3. Not making him a weakling, please? *likes the Dark Lord to be the badass genius he's known to be in the first war. And no 'Voldemort is obsessed with something so he's dedicate his whole attention to it' since, obviously, it's not true. The only thing is... Voldemort is evil. There's nothing as delicious as Harry fully submitting himself to a darker an evil Tom... The rope play, the kinkiness... on the other hand, Voldemort finally having someone that likes/loves him with all his faults and accepts them... (all right, I have a thing for evil geniuses!) One of the things I like the most is Voldemort slowly changing from an evil overlord to simply a Dark Lord due to Harry's love. And I say Harry because that's the only person I can imagine him with, the thought of Voldemort with anyone else nauseates me =___= besides... the only one he would submit himself to would be Harry~~ Anyway, just to pimp another thread that I'm unusually fond of: http://forums.fictionalley.org/park/showthread.php?s=&postid=1931387#post1931387 Oh do lighten up, would you? You're taking things way to seriously!
  4. Just so you know, I have dibs on Voldemort! Speaking of him... how are you writing him? You're still keeping his short-tempered genius Dark-Lord!Mind right? (and just for the record, he does NOT have a propensity to throw around Crucio on his followers (Harry's 4th year being a highly unusual circumstance and thus, an exception))
  5. See, I'm not saying anything on the contrary, I'm saying that I blatantly and purposely ignore the 'theory' we're shown in the books and made up my own. Now for some odd reason I'm in the mood for Harry/10th Doctor fanfic
  6. Yes, and I choose to disregard that, and make a new rule. To me the magical core has to go somewhere, since it is a part of the wizard it is also a part of the animal that wizard turns to, thus making it magical.
  7. And there's nothing saying that they weren't magical, or that they had no special abilities. I mean, where would their magical core go? Anyway, I've got a question for both of you: Have you ever been in love with your own fanfiction? Here I am, reading my own stories again, and absolutely smitten with most of them! PS: A better source of information, imho, is HP Lexicon.
  8. lol, I dare say that you just might like what I did with Umbridge the second one is more innocent (sort of) though they both have hints of MPreg. I have to agree with her on that, bold is odd for speech pattern, might I suggest you save it for mental-talk or parseltongue? o.o
  9. I saw some Harry/Percy there... May I recommend some of my own: Taking Chances: A poor choice of a marriage partner turns out to be the best thing to even happen to Harry as they take a chance at happiness. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7086882/1/Taking_Chances Red Hair and Green Eyes: Harry's worried and Percy notices. Unfortunately for the redhead, he has always been weak when it comes to his obsessions. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6440584/1/Red_Hair_and_Green_Eyes Of course, there's more than a handful of Harry/Voldemort that you're, obviously, more than welcome to read
  10. That pronoun right there... *shakes head* Anyway, I don't think it'd be the same, I mean... Harry has no constant reminder of his parents the way Neville does, Harry, instead, has an impression of them and misses something he never really had, actually something he doesn't remember he had. Though in a way those idealised impressions he has are worse. Know it?! I used to be a beta for that fic until Noctem took sometime off for family mattersi.. and yes, it's a VERY good fic, though the one with the quotes was usualy Evan and not Harry.
  11. Personally, I'd like to see Luna (or Neville) as a traitor to something, doesn't even have to be Harry-related. A reviewer asked me this and it left me wanting *sighs* ah well, as the saying goes 'if you want it, go and get it' ... or in this case 'go an write it' which I will be doing anyway ^^ Now that's quite the welcome change!! I don't mind Ginny-bashing, but I quite like it when she's supportive of Harry.
  12. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel... if we're posting vids now... It has no relevance whatsoever to anything.
  13. Actually... speaking of BDSM and domination and whatnot, you might want to read this: http://bestmates-xmas.livejournal.com/49989.html#cutid1 It's Harry/Ron but it has the most beautiful representation of rope play and dom/sub that I've ever seen... (and trust me, I've seen a LOT)
  14. No no no no no no no no no NO! Shopping trips are booooooooooooooooooooooring... you could just go over it with a brief, one paragraph, summary, also, can I ask for the 'house inside a trunk' to NOT exist here? Please? I mean, if it was at all possible, the Weasleys would live in a trunk/house, wouldn't they?! A line... hmmmmmmmm *thinking* I wonder if you can put my favourite quote somewhere: "When you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains-however improbable-must be the truth." ~Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
  15. I knew it! But Ron is rather lovely when he goes back to apologize, at least I think so. Voldemort? Like it or not he's a genius, though it doesn't necessarily mean wise... I keep thinking Voldemort... It's be neat if it were either Theodore or Percy Either Fred or George Same as above~~ Now this one is Tom... I am right, aren't I?! You better! I need a birthday present to look forward to! Just reassure me that there's no Draco in here and it'll be great!
  16. See, that's why I stop reading when I see either Draco, Lucius, Severus (more recently), Remus or any person whose cock just has the potential to tear Harry apart x.x or any story which has a crappy plot, whichever comes first. I actually do like Kingsley and Viktor (hell, I've beta-ed for a Harry/Viktor fic) I just don't think they might be relevant in this fic, though I wouldn't mind if it was Harry/Voldemort (for example) bringing Viktor to their bed for a one-night stand. Kingsley... that's be hard, It seems like Harry's going dark (correct me on this if I'm wrong Silver) and since Kingsley is an auror I don't quite see how he could consent to that... I honestly don't remember McNair's description... but of the DEs I tend to prefer Rodolphus (after Harry or Ron killed Bella), Rabastan and Barty Crouch Jr.... (though with him I always tend to think of David Tennant, who I think is incredibly cute/adorable) I really don't see why the votes would cause controversy, Silver, just a difference of opinion is quite healthy... as long as there's no name calling/character bashing. Speaking of characters... are you sure about Ron? There's no reason why you couldn't make someone else a villain... say Umbridge? She's very much alive as far as we know, and Ron is always lovely when he gets all protective of Harry. Maybe have him jealous in a first part, and then make him discover something or other that puts Harry in danger? I mean I could totally see Ron going: "Yeah, I was jealous of (such and such), but you know I'm a prat anyway! Doesn't mean I want you dead! I mean, I'm jealous of (such and such) and you're jealous of my family... for some odd reason... it's a neverending circle of jealousy! It all works out!" And then him blushing the famous Weasley blush... Just an idea!
  17. lol, it's more like I didn't check your name before tipping Weeeeeeell... Besides Harry/Voldemort (which will probably be my favourite pairing for a long time to come) I'm a fan of rare pairings so: Terry Boot, Theodore Nott, Percy Weasley *discretely points out towards own author's page*, Rabastan or Rodolphus Lestrange, Bill Weasley (thus the suggestion) and so many others... Oddly enough I tend to think of Neville as Harry's brother o.o
  18. My turn to be rude I think... while I have read Malfoy and Snape with Harry, the thought of the others with Harry makes me nauseous, so no, I'm not giving it a chance and I don't plan to. That's all I have to say on that. On the subject of Remus... Well, this is fanfiction as you've pointed out, and it seems to be following cannon up to Harry's 5th year, so it's got to follow cannon up until 5th year (unless SilverMist gives us a damned good explanation for the deviation ) and up until the very end Remus was the most cowardly character in the entire series, imho. And I'm including Peter and Draco (whom I positively detest.) Also, with this bit: You're just calling him stupid, as much as I hated it, Petunia was, at the very end, the only logical choice family-wise... James' parents were already dead, so was Lily's, Sirius was in Azkaban, who was left to take care of Harry? The Ministry was a mess and there was a very real chance that Harry, if he was put up for adoption, would end in a DE family and thus, dead. The trials and excuses (in the case of Malfoy & others) weren't over and done with overnight, so he was also in danger in a magical region (such as The Burrow, for example). The only place that could be safe, where they could put up protection wards and make them work, was with Petunia. Remus is not lacking a functioning brain, so one can reason that he did know if not where, with whom Harry was. Could Dumbledore put something in Remus' brain to make him forget or just not give a damn? Sure, but unlikely. As a 15 month-old baby, Harry needed protection, blood-wards + a protective werewolf is a damned good protection if you ask me. Much better than a squib! Also, even with the werewolf-laws, there's very, very little that can nullify a will, while I doubt James and Lily would put the safety of their son to chance by naming Remus a guardian, they could have made him a caretaker, as in living in the area and keeping an eye on the boy. But that's just a theory mind. Also, just so we're clear: Fudge stepped up as Minister for Magic in 1990, he had no say whatsoever in Harry's life before that.
  19. Some of those pairings... no offence but, yuck! Please count -1 to: Lucius, Severus Hagrid Fenrir Remus Firenze Out of all those pairings the only one who really makes my jaw clench is Harry/Remus I mean... it makes no sense whatsoever! The block abandoned Harry when Albus left him with Petunia, didn't bother to get in contact until he was hired as a DADA Professor 12 years later and even then he only bothered to say 'hey, I was a friend of your parents!' at the very end of the year! Not to mention he virtually disappears during Harry's 4th year, where he actually needed someone there. Oh yeah.. great mate material that one! *glares* Though I do, heartily, approve of Harry/Theodore! He's so overlooked you can do pretty much anything with the boy!
