My sincerest apologies to anyone whose sensibilities I may have offended. I also extend those same apologies to the admins for having to have to post the warning. This is what happens when Junkies don't get their fix...the things I've read as fact or fiction, I do not close my eyes to. Sometimes I cannot make sense of it all, at others, so clear, I'm standing on the world unmindful of my feet. I shall go play freecell and minesweeper as punishment.

Or Catholic school. I was one of them girls the fan-fics talk about, and I kid you not, the skirts were incredibly short. (grade 11 & 12 only) I can only imagine several nuns were turning over in their graves everyday...anyway, I've heard that even in non-segregated public schools where uniforms are adopted, marks go up.

Wow, dude, I'd uv tried to be more eloquent if ida knowed you were goin ta pin this up!

Inuyasha Runs Naked - (I don't know, this is just a wild guess. Is Knorg Inuyasha-phobic?) (but wtf could BRN stand for except something brown, and smelly...) Okay, that was admittedly the dumbest guess I've ever made. But seriously, isn't there a clickable drop down menu right on the site that explains all the codes? That's what I used when I was but a greenhorn. Top right hand corner: Info/Support It drops down and choose: Resources Three categories to choose from, pick: Site FAQ (Admin Only) There are presently 26 works to choose from. Go to "next" page (page 2) Scroll down until you see "Story Codes", et voila~!

Sorry guys, she should have agreed to the rules before putting that up. If she's part of the community there, she must have had to sign an agreement to keep it in such and such a way. If she signed it, she's liable. Sure reminds me of that old X-Files series/program/show (what's the word I'm looking for?) Imagine now, though, the thoughts going through her mind. ("Wow, 200 people here don't agree with me, that's a lot of negative energy, man") I'd move if I were her. (but only because I'm chickenshit) I wonder if her neighbors even know her? Maybe they've got a grudge against her from somenthing else. I'm going to go look up the "Satanic" roots of that symbol, and see if there's any foundation to their claim. Okay, the first thing on the 'google' list was actually some "Christian" site which vociferously claimed that the peace symbol (using the fingers, not what she had on her wall) was used in secret Masonic and witchcrafting events. They used Winston Churchill and Nixon as an example. Oh yeah, I believe, I believe. Sheesh. And for good measure, here's the symbology behind the Anarchist symbol:

riiight...well, moving along now. (I'm glad the air got cleared regarding the crap thing), Pixi Pirategirl brought up an interesting point about birth control pills, which, (on another board) someone else mentioned this feminist movement against men experimenting with women's bodies. Premarin was taken off the shelf because for women who had been taking it for long enough, this group of women were shown to have an elevated propensity for uterine and breast cancer. I mean, this pill was developed in Nazi-land and their test group was the (guess it) women in concentration camps. And do you know what its made of? (Here, now is the reason WHY abortion is the number one birth control method in Russia.) Because its made from horse-piss. I really don't know what the hell they make it out of now, but one wonders, doesn't one, about the ethics of pharmacists and doctors perscribing something that hadn't gone through the "ten year" test window on animals before it was introduced to the human test. I guess Aushwitz had something useful come out of it. They were the animal test group for the pill. Although this is something that can anger me, I'm more angry at the lack of education here. I mean, I watch "How Its Made" and "Daily Planet" and I've never seen them tell anyone how a birth-control pill is made. I really would like to know, considering the impact Premarin made on the human population. Not to mention this concern, when Premarin was taken off shelves.

Um, I would like to point out that the issue isn't about who is pro-life or pro-choice, but whether it is legal, which, as far as I am concerned, have made my views fairly clear. (coming through the filter of my garbled mind). I like what Thundercloud said It is a good reminder for all of us. And while the point is well brought up about taking all precautions, yet still becoming pregnant and having abortion as an option, then that's between the patient and doctor, not the legal system, as far as I'm concerned, but to use it as an ONLY means of contraception, or to correct a stupid judgement, I really would think that behavior crosses the line. Think about it. How many women do you know who have had an abortion, used it as a means because all other means failed?

very funny ha ha That's what I get for not quoting someone. Echtrae earlier said the teacher/student thing reminded him of Roxanne by Sting, but it was actually Don't Stand So Close To Me by Sting. I guess the point was lost... But Niki, Big Sam aren't the only teacher-y types here. EveKnight is, and my dad was, and now, *pish* reddragon's mom is. wtf? (my only experience with teaching was teaching Ukrainian dance for a couple years once a week during the school months, and it paid better than babysitting or waitressing.) edit: if we count Soulie as a teacher, then the ratio is absolutely mind-boggling. Okay, okay, I finally read the article, and it seems like a localized area, Naples, which, I suppose, like 1/2 of Florida will one day be underwater if Antarctica and Greenland melt. I saw the same thing happen in my town (although not nearly in size the same, but I suppose a microcosm of that phenomena due to the pine beetle infestation) Rising prices after a disaster like that hurricane, and the war going on (affecting the price of copper, let me tell you, we put in this geo-thermal system, and the owner decided to put copper instead of pex for plumbing, and let me tell you, the fittings for the pipe, which fit into two or three small boxes that my husband could tuck under his arm was worth over $3000. (cdn) before mark-up!) I'm telling you, copper and steel prices have gone up with the conflict, and even worse when the hurricane took out those drilling rigs in the Gulf. We felt it all the way up here, and are still feeling it. It's not just people's wages, it's the wages of war, the price of disaster!

It was a conditional sentence, and therefore, not absurd.

If anyone here who advocates pro-choice has EVER seen an abortion performed, you would NEVER choose it. Not only is it bloody and cold, it is a procedure that many women who submit to it don't realize the full consequences. Infertility, perforated uterus. It would be better to remove the entire organ than to have that done to your body! To hear the people performing these abortions, who are so innured to this procedure, they use very dehumanizing language to describe what they are doing. You are just a piece of meat to them, a means of making a living. Do you think abortionists care about your situation? Are these people with whom you become life-long friends and sit down to tea in the afternoon? They are people you never want to see ever again. Tell me I'm full of crap.

Yeah, when I'm rubbin up against the tree, I ain't thinkin of two boys. My perversions are a tad more sick. It's all about me baby. And reading some boy/boy is arousing if the author is really really really good. But they have to be good. REally good. Did I mention that? Anyway, I hear you Pixi Pirate. The girly boys are way to girly and submissive, but as soon as I get an inkling its going to be that way, I click to the next page. NEXT! (its amazing how many times I must do that!)

well, the thought crossed my mind that if any of my teachers hung out at AFF (which didn't exist back then) I would have been really grossed out. And for all the craptastic shit that teachers have to put up with, its amazing that anyone comes out of the education system intact. When I was growing up, teachers had classrooms of 30. (They also had "the strap", which may explain a lot) but even back then everyone knew teachers were overworked and underpaid.

It makes sense in a world so full of differences. A child can by no means be equal to a man.
