  1. I am getting really sick of logging into a so called "art" site and seeing a bunch of pornographic photos people are claiming to be art. A woman squeezing her breasts and moaning is clearly more suited for a porn site. Not a site where children and young adults who are clearly to young to see such things are able to make an account to post their art work. Then I find a picture of a guy playing with himself, which is against site rules I might add, that someone has labeled art. Not even close. Is it really too much to ask for an art site where people actually follow the rules or the owners actually pay attention?

Thank you AFF staff for actually taking care of the site! It's so nice to see people who actually care ^^

  2. Rae squealed in delight as they took off, which quickly changed to a full out laugh. If there was one thing she loved, it was flying. The only thing that came close to the exhilarating freedom of flight was when she was running using her increased speed.

Continuing the giggle, Rae held the gold chain tight in one hand, as she used her other to work the GPS locator. Touching her mind to both Bronx and Crane's so they could continue to communicate, she began to send her thoughts. "We should head north a ways before going higher, the signal is kinda week but coming from that direction."

Bronx nodded her understanding and began to fly in that direction. Pulling her backpack in front of her Rae gently pulled out one of her books, carefully turning the old pages, she quickly located the one she wanted and muttered the concealment spell, masking their appearance

"What did you just do?" Jonathan asked, through the mental link they now shared.

"Just a minor concealment spell. As much as I love a chance to scare the living daylights out of people, I really don’t want to have hang on while Bronx avoids and possibly missiles that may come our way if someone with authority panics." Rae responded.

"Is that Kagome with the Joker?" Bronx asked after glancing at the ground below them.

Leaning far over the side to get a look, something Jonathan clearly didn’t like if the tightening of his grip around her waist was any indication, Rae nodded. "Yeah, only that's not Joker. We best get down there Bronx."

Bronx nodded in response and began to circle the area, looking for the best place to land.

"How do you know? From this height you can barely see them." Jonathan asked, looking over as well as they began to descend

Rae tensed the closer they got. "Cause I can FEEL them. You, Joker and Riddler are my best friends Jonathan. I know you. That does NOT feel like my Joker." She growled, her eyes becoming red once more as her anger mounted.

Before he could say anything else she jumped from Bronx's back, allowing her own feathered wings to appear and slow her decent.

Jonathan, to his credit, merely grabbed the gold chain she had let go of and watched her go instead of freaking out. Bronx merely chuckled.

Landing hard enough to leave a small crater around her, Rae quickly made her way over to Kagome and the fake Joker. "Kags!" She called out, resting her hand on the hilt of a sword that appeared around her waist.

"Hey Rae! Look who I ran into!" Kagome said, smiling happily.

"Kagome, I need you to come here. Quickly." Rae said, her eyes never leaving the imposter.

Kagome looked between him and her friend, becoming nervous at the way Rae was acting. "What's wrong Rae?" She asked, spotting Bronx and Crane a ways back."I know it's the Joker but I don't think he would hurt us. We're trying to find Harley."

"Oh, I wont hurt you, at least not bad anyway." The fake Joker stated, looking Rae over slowly. "So why don’t you just take your hand off the sword ya winged freak. What are ya, one of Batman's little followers?" He laughed, thinking himself funny.

Rae growled loudly, her eyes flashing an even brighter red in her irritation. "That's not the real Joker, he's a fake. I KNOW the real Joker." She said to Kags before turning her attention back to the imposter. "You're just a pathetic little wanna-be upstart author. To lame to create your own character, you have to go around using someone else's. And poorly I might add."

The imitator glared and grabbed Kagome, holding her in front of him, a knife pressed to her throat. "You stupid bitch! How dare you call me a fake! I am the Joker!" He yelled.

Kagome shrieked, looking at her friends in panic.

Jonathan came up beside Rae and snorted. "You're right. He is an imposter." He stated, looking him over. "He doesn't even have real scars." He said, motioning to the other males cheeks.

Bronx grinned, showing an impressive amount of sharp teeth. "We could change that for him."

Rae smirked, shifting her stance though not yet drawing her sword, watching the man become angrier, she was not really concerned for her friends safety, knowing that while it would take some effort, she could heal her fast enough if anything serious happened. "Not only that, the clothes are cheap. Joker doesn't wear cheap clothes. Then there is the perfect posture as compared to Joker's usual slouch, the shaky way he holds the knife, clearly hasn’t used one before, let alone killed with it, and of course the fact that he called me a freak. Joker doesn’t like that word as an insult."

Within seconds, the fake Joker pushed Kagome out of his way and into Crane, who caught her, though not exactly gently, and charged at Rae, her baiting having paid off. Swinging his arm, he tried to stab her with the knife but she merely pulled out her katana, blocking the attack as she side stepped.

Jonathan quickly pulled Kagome out of the way and over to Bronx, both watching calmly as Rae had her fun.

The fake Joker quickly attacked again, attempting to spray Rae with first laughing gas and then his own form of Joker venom. Rae continued to dodge, though not fast enough as he threw out several sharp edged playing cards, one managing to catch her in the left shoulder. She looked at where the card was imbedded in her shoulder and could feel some form of poison starting to seep through her system, trying to take effect. "Fuck." She muttered.

The fake laughed. "You see?! I am much better then your pathetic Joker. Hell, I could probably take on him, your bird brained friend over there AND that freak Riddler and still win! I am the real joker! This world is mine!!" He boasted, holding his hands above his head and he spun around, claiming the world.

Rae chose that point in time to attack, darting forward and swinging her blade with her uninjured arm. The fake stopped as he came to face her once again, grin still in place as his eyes went wide. The only sound he had time to make was a faint gurgle before his head fell back, bouncing harmlessly on the ground. Rae walked away as the body fell forward, swinging her sword through the air quickly to fling the tainted blood from it before sheathing it once more.

"Kags, please let go of my husband before he gasses you for touching him." She grumbled as she approached her friends.

Kagome blinked and looked up at the man who's waist she was currently attached too Squeaking, she quickly let go and moved away, realizing who she was clinging too. "Sorry...wait, husband?! I thought you said you were dating that Wesker guy! The one who is infected like you." Kagome stated, a little louder then necessary.

"I am." Rae grumbled, trying to pull the card from her shoulder. The poison wasn't strong enough to kill her, but it was making her a little dizzy while her virus worked to destroy it. Jonathan slapped her hand away and examined the wound.

"And I am going to have a hell of a time explaining my sudden marriage the next time I see him. Thankfully, the fact that it is in another verse should help a bit." She said, wincing as the card was moved slightly. "Would you just pull the damn thing out already?" She growled, glaring at her new husband.

"No." Jonathan stated. "It's in too deep and from the positioning, I would say it has probably gone through the artery to your arm. We pull it out now, you're going to start bleeding everywhere."

Rae groaned and looked over at Bronx, "Can you cut through it?" She asked.

Bronx came over and looked at the card before holding up a single claw. "Don't move." She said, quickly, she cut through the card, leaving only a small portion still in the shoulder. "Better?" She asked.

Rae nodded and carefully removed her shirt, looking at the damage to it. "That was one of my favorite shirts." She pouted, pulling out some bandages. Not even bothering with modesty, she pulled off her bra and with Bronx's help, began to wrap the bandages first around her chest, then her shoulder. "That will have to do for now." She said.

"Shouldn't we find a doctor?" Kagome asked.

"No time. We have to find the others. Bronx?" Rae said, looking over at her friend.

Bronx nodded and moved away, shifting forms again. Grabbing Kagome around the waist with her good arm, Rae jumped onto Bronx's back once more, settling Kagome in front of her and conjuring the gold chain again. Once Jonathan was settled behind her, Bronx took off again.

With Rae's GPS locator they began to ascend. Touching her mind to everyone's again, Rae leaned back into Jonathan, closing her eyes to rest while she focused on not hurting anyone. They higher they went, the colder it got and soon the two humans were starting to shiver. Using her power as a psion she gently tapped into Bronx's power and heated the air around herself, Jonathan and Kagome. It soon became apparent where they were going.

"Oh this is not good." Rae groaned, pulling out her book again and propping the thick, ancient tome against Kagome's back. "Turning to the page she needed, she said the spell that would allow everyone to breath, even when they transferred to into space as well as keep the heat around them.

Bronx continued up, her sharp eyes spotting their destination even from that distance. "The Watchtower." She stated. "How are we going to get in? And what about Jonathan, surely he can't just waltz into that place and NOT get arrested."

Rae nodded. "Getting in is easy enough. Getting them to LISTEN will be a bit trickier." She turned slightly to look at Crane. "I am REALLY sorry about this Jonathan, and normally, I wouldn't do this to you but I am going to have to um...well the best way to describe it is I am going to shrink you down and place you in a safe area in my back pack. You wont have to worry about being squished, as it is a multidimensional space, you technically wont be in this verse anymore."

Jonathan groaned and nodded. "Just get it over with." He grumbled, a rare pout on his face.

Rae smiled faintly and kissed his cheek. "Sorry." she said, before finding the spell needed and shrinking him down, gently placing him in the bag. "Least it's comfy in there." She grinned.

"And the getting in part?" Kagome inquired.

"Simple. We'll just knock." Rae chirped happily.

"Knock?" Bronx asked, rolling one eye to glance back at them.

"Yup! Bronx dear, could you go over to that window and hover?" Rae asked sweetly. Once in position she leaned over and knocked, well, banged on the thick glass to get the attention of the male on the other side.

Looking up, Superman raised a brow at the odd group as Rae waved at him before quickly teleporting them inside.

Releasing the spell for air from around herself and Kagome, Rae jumped off of Bronx taking the smaller girl with her and broke the mental connection between her and Kagome, leaving the one between herself and Bronx in tact as always. She watched as Superman approached them, feeling the slight drop in temperature indicating that Bronx had taken her human form again.

Before Superman could say anything, Bruce Wayne walked in with some papers in hand, his cowl hanging off his head. Looking up, he quickly spotted the three girls, his face becoming a deep red in his anger as he realized that she had once again disobeyed him and that 2 more people now knew who he was.

"What they hell are you doing here!?" He yelled, crossing the room to stand in front of them. "I told you to stay put and not only do you not listen to me, you bring a group of strangers to the fucking Watchtower!" He ranted. "You just keep screwing up today Rae. First by leaving the hotel when I told you to stay there, then by aiding in Crane's escape from the convention center, which I KNOW you did so don't bother denying it," He growled, cutting off Rae's protest, "Only to wind up MARRYING him, and now this!" He fumed, "And why the hell are you covered in blood and wandering around without a shirt? I have had it up to he--"

Before he could finish his rant, Bruce was knocked to the floor after a small fist connected with his jaw, the last thing he heard before falling unconscious was Rae growling "Do not talk to me as if I am a child you worthless prick."

Standing straight once more, Rae turned and smiled at the man she knew to be Clark Kent. "Hey Superman, how are you? Been a while since I last saw you." She said, smiling and looking calm as ever.

Superman merely watched the little altercation between Batman and his charge along with the subsequent punch that put Batman out. "Good." Superman answered Rae pleasantly "It has been a while though, last I remember you weren't able to knock Bruce out with a single swing." He told her casually. "He did have a point though." He added before Rae could respond. "Why are you here with people who clearly don't have clearance to be here?" Superman asked in a pleasant tone.

Rae grinned sheepishly and pointed to her red eyes. "My temper's up. And last time you saw me I was against actually hitting him hard. I've gotten over it." She shrugged, or at least half shrugged, as she could only move her right shoulder. "Sorry about that...I swear they aren't going to be a problem though. This is Bronx and Kagome." She stated, motioning to the other women. "They aren't from this verse. We are looking for the rest of our group and thanks to this," She held up the GPS tracker, "believe they are here, since Foe had my phone last."

Superman gave the two women a curt nod, but kept his attention on Rae. Though, he cocked an eyebrow at her GPS device and more over her description of her supposed friends. "That would explain why we wouldn't recognize them." Superman mused aloud before looking over Bronx and Kagome more thoroughly "Wouldn't happen to be able to tell me why they are in our verse and what they want would you?" He asked Rae, but almost seemed like he was asking the other two as well.

Rae nodded before getting an idea. Pointing to her shoulder she asked, "Can I borrow a medic? I have a playing card in my shoulder that severed an artery. I am starting to loose feeling in my arm." She inquired. "It actually has to do with why we are here. Have you been having problems lately with people who LOOK or act like popular villains but turn out not to be or are claiming to be a superhero or even married to one?" She asked, trying to ignore the pain in her shoulder every time it moved slightly.

"Of course, we've got a full medical facility down this way." Superman stated with a gesture. "If your friends don't mind coming along, I'd like to keep an eye on them." He requested with a charming smile.

"Of course." Bronx cooed seductively, while Kagome merely just gave a soft smile and a respectful nod.

With that Superman started leading the way, floating along rather then walking with them. After they started moving he held back some to match pace with Rae. "There have been a few more reports of people who were not who they seemed to be then usual, but nothing we haven't seen before." He explained lowly before looking at her more directly. "You also still haven't told me why your friends are here." Superman pressed in as serious of voice as he ever used for such matters.

Rae rolled her eyes as she walked along beside him, folding her wings behind her. "This," She stated, pointing her her shoulder. "Is why. This was done by one of those pretenders. He was wandering around claiming to be Joker. You already know that there are different universes out there. Where we are from, we are authors, the creators of these universes. But some people, instead of creating their own or writing legit stories about an already made verse, inject themselves into that world using someone who already exists, drastically altering reality. It's how Bruce is alive again when in all rights, he should be dead." Sitting down while someone came forward to work on her arm, she motioned her friends to the seats against the wall. "These people are known as Sue's in our world. My friends and I are some of the few who follow rules and don’t mess with things. We are currently acting as cleaners so to say, going to different verses and getting rid of the Sue's before they cause the collapse of that verse. As it is, it's getting a lot worse, this verse is pretty bad I'm worried we may not be able to save it." She explained, watching him calmly, wincing every now and then.

Superman listened carefully as Rae told him what they were doing. "It sounds like a rather big problem for the League to have no knowledge of it." He commented as he let Bronx work on Rae, but held up a hand calmly before Rae could rebut his comment. "We have plenty of detection measures and we're willing to listen when strange people show up out of nowhere talking about the end of the universe. However, while there are more reports then normal of imposters, you have to understand our position." Superman countered putting his hand back in his folded arms. "The people we picked up recently aren't exactly noble heroes. They were traveling with Harley Quinn and one of them even gunned down one of his allies in cold blood. Then there are the members of the Royal Flush gang that they also killed. We simply can't ignore that kind of criminal activity." He explained having skipped the majority of his normal arguments

Rae nodded and sighed, smiling at Bronx when she finished, closing her eyes, she stretched her mind out, touching it to her friends in order to gain access to their memories. Not something she normally did, but she felt it was necessary at the moment. Opening her eyes once more, she look at the male before her. "I understand your concerns, and while you do have a valid argument, you do not have all the facts. I know you are a aware of my abilities, as I have made no attempt in hiding them from you or any other like you. Would you be willing to allow me to touch minds briefly? It will make this go a lot faster and I will be able to share information that is hard for me to explain, as well as allow you to see what really happened." She paused, tilting her head. "And is it so odd that they were with Harl? Hell, you know who I hang with in this verse and don't make a fuss. It's better that was with them instead of Joker at this point, it is my understanding that he is having a few...issues, right now."

"I think you are missing the point." Superman stated calmly. "They killed people, and why some of that is acceptable for self defense they still need to be investigated." He told her fairly sternly. "I'm willing to listen to your statement and even let you share your memories. However, it will still need to be ruled out that they aren't just another bunch of killers trying to play vigilantes" He explained, his arms still crossed ti display his protest to the concept. "And just to be clear, traveling with Harley is odd. Regardless of the company you keep, you haven't done anything too extreme and your guardian takes on the responsibility of your actions as far as the League is concerned. This isn't a privilege that your friends have." He added as a final rebuttal, before waiting for her to give him her memories.

Rae smirked, "Bruce is a fool for that. I neither need nor want his help." She stated before touching his mind, allowing her memories, as well as those of the others to pass between them. "As for my friends, we will be leaving here whether you like it or not. And I think you already know that, even if you wont admit it." Standing, she changed, the bandages, using clean ones before leveling a glare at him. "Also, lose the holier then thou attitude Clark. You are no better then we are. An Earth civilian who chooses to use their abilities to help others, just because you were here first doesn't mean shit." Turning, she rummaged through her bag, careful not bump the pocket where Crane was. Pulling out a tank top, she pulled it on. "I've killed too. You do what you have to to survive in this world. What were they supposed to do, wait for you guys to show up, some possibly getting killed in the process? I don’t think so."

Superman held a hand to his temple for a few seconds while he got over the sensation. "That does change things." He murmured to himself before composing himself again. "From what you just showed me, I wouldn't have a problem letting them go. However, since they are already here an in custody, I am not the one to make that call." He explained keeping his arms crossed but again held up a hand to halt protest. "I don't doubt you and your friends are capable of getting out of here. However, this isn't how the League works and I am a representative of the League. Making exceptions in the field is something each League member has to make on their own, however making an exception here in the Watchtower is something else entirely." He stated firmly before crossing his arms fully again. "I'm not going to simply release your friends. However, I will help you in getting them released legally." Superman offered in a curt, professional tone.

"Define legal and how long exactly will this take. We need to get back to work, and I would rather leave here BEFORE one of them does something destructive." She stated, relaxing a bit now that he was being a bit more understanding. "Also um...how much trouble do you think I am going to be in for the marriage thing? Bruce or not, I can think of several who are going to have a problem with it."

She asked warily. "And uh...can I get protection from Bruce?" She grinned teasingly. "I'm pretty sure he is going to kill me." She laughed, ignoring her stomach as it began to growl, signaling her hunger.

Superman just chuckled. “You're on your own with Bruce, kid.” He stated, turning to leave the room, indicating they should follow. “We should get you something to eat while I explain, I have seen you hungry before, I'd rather not again.”

Rae laughed and followed behind, linking her arms with Bronx and Kagome.

  3. I am trying to view my old PM's in order to determine which to delete and which I need to save to a separate file so that I may delete those as well. Unfortunately anything May 11th and back comes up with this:

"[#10229] We could not determine which message you were attempting to view. "

I find this happens from time to time where as other times I am able to view even my oldest message. Am I still able to get the old messages so that I can delete them/ save whats needed or are they gone for good?

Thank you for your time and help, it is as always, much appreciated ^^ Also, if this is the wrong area, I apologize in advance.

  4. Rae used a mirror on the souvenir stand to look back at her friend when Bronx tapped her. Sure enough, within seconds she saw him break away from the men that had approached Jonathan. As soon as he started making his way towards them she knew what was coming and held her breath. Gas or not, it still left a foul taste in your mouth. She hated it. As soon as he sprayed them she imitated her friend in acting scared while discreetly dropping something to the floor as she was pulled through the emergency door.

She growled faintly and glared at Jonathan when he pushed them through the door to the sub basement before rolling her eyes. It was to be expected when he was in a hurry. When he mentioned money for persuasive reasons she was glad she always carried a little cash on it. With the kind of friends she had, it was always good to have a little.

As they made their way through the tunnels Jonathan glanced over at Rae. "Did you drop what I think you dropped?" He asked.

Rae winced. "Yes. Well...maybe. They WERE right next to the explosives with a short fuse." She replied, grinning sheepishly.

Bronx looked up from watching her step. "What were you trying to drop?"

Rae chuckled. "Flash bomb. Was hoping to buy us a bit more time. On the plus side, if it WAS an explosive, it fell under a table so most the blast would be mostly contained, just kick up a lot of dust."

Both her friends nodded, but that didn't stop them from speeding up. Rae may have been brilliant when it came to computers and medicine. But explosive devices she was still learning. And with Joker as a teacher, they didn’t want to be around if she made a mistake.

After getting out of the tunnels, stealing a car and later switching to a second car, also stolen no doubt, Bronx asked the inevitable question of where they would go now.

Thinking for a moment, Rae remembered a silly conversation she had had with Riddler about escape routes that had gotten a bit silly.

"I have an idea," Rae said. "Drive to the nearest wedding chapel."

Both BW and Jonathan looked at Rae with identical expressions of puzzled inquiry.

"If they're tracking us, they're looking for a man with two female hostages who are absolutely terrified." Rae turned to Jonathan. "How long does that gas last?"

"Approximately six hours," Jonathan replied, "in the dosage that was in that aerosol."

Rae nodded. "The two female hostages couldn't possibly recover fast enough to be happily participating in a wedding, could they? So, you and I get married and Bronx is our witness. When they barge in, we have perfect alibis."

Jonathan nodded slowly. "That could work."

BW grinned. She tugged on the ties of her dress, adjusting the hemline, and undid the ponytail confining her silver mane. Rummaging in her purchases, she changed jewelry, and then dove into her purse and located her small pouch of makeup, darkening her eyes with some smoky liner and shadow, and adding a darker shade of lipstick. Rae was busy redoing her own makeup as Jonathan pulled off into the parking lot of one of the ubiquitous wedding chapels that dotted Vegas.

The three conspirators hurried inside, and while Rae and Jonathan set about filling out the necessary paperwork to get married, BW amused herself by purchasing a bouquet for Rae, sweet apricot tea roses and lacy baby's breath tied with pale peach ribbons. BW's purse yielded a slim gold band which she handed to Jonathan with an arched eyebrow.

"You need to put a ring on her hand, lad. You can buy her sparkling things later on," BW said dryly, watching Jonathan's eyes narrow slightly.

The minister brought in his wife as a second witness, for a modest fee, and adjusted the time of their arrival in his books for another slightly less modest fee. That proved to be a wise precaution, for as Rae and Jonathan finished their vows and were in the process of being pronounced man and wife, the door to the chapel burst open and a team of armed men poured in.

Rae screamed and hid behind Jonathan in mock fright, playing the part of the scared bride as she whimpered and clung to her friend. Jonathan put an arm around her possessively and glared at the men. For all intensive purposes they looked like nothing more then a couple who's wedding had just been interrupted.

"What is the meaning of this?!" The priest bellowed, coming forward to face them men as he stood protectively in front of his wife. "This is a wedding chapel not a gun show!"

One of the men stepped forward, never lowering his gun. "We are looking for a man who just escaped after trying to steal a military prototype. He is in the company of two women he has taken hostage and have reason to believe they are here." He answered.

Bronx glared at the man as she can forward. "Who the hell do you think you are?" She snarled, getting in the mans face, despite the gun pointed right at her. "Do we look like a couple of terrified hostages to you? You are ruining my friends wedding. And get that gun out of my chest before I shove it up your ass!" She said, slapping the gun so that it pointed to the wall instead of at her.

The man glared right back but had to smirk at the feisty woman in front of him. "Just a wedding huh? All right, let me see the books and your paperwork if that is all that is going on. And if it is, we will leave. Simple as that." The smug look on his face showed his over confidence. He was sure these were the people he was after.

The priests wife quickly walked out of the room and came back with the required documents and handed them to the obvious leader. Looking them over the mans smirk soon began to fade and he handed them back, quickly motioning the others to lower their weapons. "I apologize. It seems we were misinformed. Congratulations on your wedding miss." He said, nodding at a sniffling Rae who looked ready to burst into tears. As soon as the men left the room, Rae's sniffling stopped and she stuck out her tongue, blowing raspberries at them. "Suckers." She muttered. Before they left Rae handed over the rest of the cash to the priest, feeling bad for what they had put him and his wife through.

Returning to their hotel room Rae went over and flopped on the couch. "WELL, that was fun." She stated. It wasn’t long before Jonathan was in front of her, pulling her up by her arms.

"What the hell are you doing here?" He growled, clearly annoyed. "You could have got yourself killed!"

Rae growled back, slapping his hands away. "What am I doing here? What are YOU doing here! Damn it Jonathan, since when do you run off without thinking things through? That was a fucking TRAP you moron! Did it ever occur to you that something like this convention and the dispersal unit would have the papers MONTHS ago instead of within the last few days? I've warned you about...!" Rae's rant was suddenly cut off as Jonathan kissed her, pulling her close. It wasn't the first time he had used this trick to shut her up. But it worked every time.

As they continued to stand there, oblivious to the amused look Bronx was giving them Bruce Wayne suddenly stormed in. "RAE! What did I tell you about leaving this hotel! And about those stupid flash bombs of yours!" He yelled before taking in the site before him. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!" He roared, looking ready to kill.

Both Rae and Jonathan stiffened before pulling apart, though Crane kept a possessive arm around Rae's shoulders. "Fuck...forgot the lock the door..." Rae mumbled.

Bronx looked between the three before getting a mischievous grin. "Bruce, I'd like you to meet Rae's new husband Jonathan Crane. They were just married. Isn't that sweet?" She asked, enjoying the "I'm going to kill you." Look her friend was giving her.

Bruce's eyes bugged for a moment as his face turned a lovely shade of red. "WHAT?!?"

  5. Rae blushed at the compliment and fidgeted a bit in embarrassment while Bronx spoke. "Well, at the very least I know what he will be wearing. His normal suite would draw attention because someone may think he is a buyer and try to talk to him. This will be one of the few times you will ever see him in jeans." She paused and chuckled. "Not that I mind that."

Bronx grinned. "I'm sure you don't." She replied, still trying to figure out what to wear. Rae tilted her head for a minute, looking her friend over before going to her back pack. Reaching in she pulled out a flowing black dress and showed it to her. "Why don't you wear this? As it is its casual enough you wont stand out but when it is time for dinner all you have to do is use the drawstring and it bunches the skirt a bit." She explained demonstrating. "I also have some black capri leggings to go with it in case we have to run or fight." She stated, taking them out as well.

"That's perfect!" Bronx stated. Taking the dress she went into the bathroom and quickly changed. Since their was only an inch difference in height the dress fit her really well, clinging to her curves while still flowing gently. Rae then pulled out a couple hair accessories and tied her friends hair up in a light pony leaving a few locks of hair loose to frame her face and curling the ends. The last thing she added was a sheer black shawl that had a faint glimmer in the light. She wrapped it around her friends waist, holding it together with the clasp so that it acted as a belt until she needed it that night. "There." She stated, looking Bronx over. "Casual while still remaining elegant."

After a few final touches Rae shouldered her bag and the two of the left the hotel, walking to the convention center as it was only a few blocks away. As they walked they did a little light shopping at some of the boutiques along the way. All the purchases made their way into Rae's bag, except for a few pieces of jewelry they chose to wear. Once they reached the convention center, instead of going directly in the two walked around the building, making note of the exits. While standing in one of the alley ways Rae allowed her energy to spread out, allowing her to feel the surrounding areas in case they needed an escape route. As they headed inside Rae explained what she found mapping out in her sketch pad. Once both had memorized it, which only took a few minutes, the drawing was casually destroyed.

Using the map of the convention center and it's current exhibits that had been given to them upon entrance the girls had no trouble finding the room the dispersal unit was being held in. It was crowded but after a few minutes of looking Bronx finally spotted Jonathan. Nudging Rae she motioned to one of the exhibits. "There he is. Looks like he's spotted us."

Looking over Rae nodded, seeing that he had indeed spotted them, though he was making no move to over. He merely raised a brow in question before ignoring them. Linking her arm with Bronx's she guided her friend in another direction, trying to look as if they were browsing the booths, knowing better then to interrupt. "We best not bother him. I doubt I have to tell you to keep an eye out for trouble though." Rae said, looking over some souvenirs a vendor near one of the emergency was selling.

She purchased a couple, trying to act normal but the entire time she was becoming more and more agitated, that feeling that something wasn't right returning full force.

  6. Rae sighed and rubbed her eyes. "The dispersal unit is more for mass quantities of people. Not individual, BUT, if we can get a large group of sue's in one are, we may be able too. IF we can get a hold of it. There is also a chemical agent that they have been working on that will weight down the chemical vapors and thus allows it to be used outside as well as in so that the wind cause problems." At questioning look Bronx was giving her Rae just shrugged. "I'm not a hacker for nothing hun." She smiled faintly. "As for Jonathan working with us...that really depends on what you can offer him as well as how threatened he feels. If he thinks they are a threat, it shouldn't be too hard to get him to agree.

She was about to continue when the captain informed them over the loud speaker that they would be landing in a few minutes so she shook her head and indicated that they would finish the conversation later. Bruce sat up and yawned, stretching. "Oh save it Bruce. We know damn well you weren't asleep OR listening to anything." Rae grumbled. Bruce just glared at her before going back to his charming self, smiling at Bronx.

"So, Bronx was it?" Bruce began, still smiling. "How would you like to join me for dinner later tonight? If Rae doesn't mind of course." He asked, glancing over at her.

Rae just snorted. "So much for "bonding."" She mumbled before shrugging. "Do what you like. Maybe I'll wander around a bit. Check out the casino or something."

Bruce frowned and shook his head. "Oh no. I want you to stay in your room unless there is someone with you. You get into way to much trouble to be wandering around on your own." He was surprised when all he got was an eye roll and shrug in response. "What, no argument?" He inquired curiously.

Rae just sighed and looked out the window, crossing her arms. "What's the point?"

Bruce just smiled faintly at the back of her head. "Well, this is a nice turn of events. Does this mean you have finally decided to start listening to me?" His only response was silence so he turned his attention back to Bronx. "So how 'bout it?"

Bronx was surprised to say the least, from what she had seen it was clear that the two people in front of her did not like each other, and rarely agreed, if ever. She had been expecting a rather loud protest from her friend. That's when she saw the faint smirk on her friends face as well as the look in her eye that clearly said "just because I am not protesting does not mean I plan to behave." When Rae winked at her, understanding hit her full force. Nodding faintly she turned to Bruce, giving him her most seductive smile and purred, "I'd love too."

Bruce looked delighted and leaned forward in his seat as much as his seat belt would allow and began discussing dinner plans with Bronx while they landed. Once they had gathered their bags, the three of them parted ways, Bruce taking a limo to a meeting and the girls taking another to the hotel. It was almost 9 am when the girls were finally settled in their shared suite, sitting out on the balcony enjoying room service.

"So why didn't you argue with Wayne when he told you to stay put. I have no doubts that you have no intention of doing as he says, but to not protest even a little doesn't seem normal." Bronx said as she ate.

Rae looked up from her bacon and chuckled. "Hmm? Oh that. Well, I figured it was pointless to argue, and that you wouldn't appreciate the loud noise in such a small space..my ears wouldn't either for that matter." She grabbed another waffle and wolfed it down as she tried to replenish lost energy in order to keep her virus in check. "Besides, if I argued, he may have posted a guard. Cant very well sneak out if the door is watched." She stated, before looking over the edge of the balcony. "Well...I could. But Even in Vegas I'm sure something like that would be noticed." She smirked.

Bronx laughed and continued eating. "True. So what's the plan for today?" She asked.

Rae shrugged, pushing her now empty plate away. "Well, the convention started a few days ago, which has give plenty of people time to see the dispersal unit. So I was thinking maybe we go down and take a look around ourselves. Jonathan will probably try to get it as soon as possible, and I want to be there when he does. Just in case of course." She said, trying to look calm and not show how anxious she really was. "Of course, you dont have to join me. Your more then welcome to tour the city if you like." She added, getting up. "Anyways, I am going to go for another quick shower and change. Sitting in a plane with all that recycled air always makes me feel so dirty."

Bronx nodded and watched her go. A half hour later Rae came out of the shower and began to rummage through her bag, searching for something to wear. Pulling out some black underwear she slipped them on as well as a pair of form fighting dark blue jeans. After a few minutes debate she pulled out a white strapless bra and put it on in place of the bandages she usually wrapped her chest in before pulling on a ginger crotchet top with a rosette covered shawl overlay that hugged her curves. Tugging the sleeves into place she smiled at how they flared out around her wrists before putting on a matching choker. After brushing out her hair she applied a small amount of makeup and slipped on her sneakers.

"Well, what do you think?" She asked, spinning around for Bronx. The outfit gave her a much softer look, more sweet and innocent then her usual, "don't mess with me" vibe. As long as her eyes remained silver instead of the red of her virus that is. "When it comes to large groups of people, I prefer to be able to blend in so I figured my usual may not work. Plus umm...yeah..." She trailed off, not wanting to admit that she also may be trying to look nice for her friend. She bit her lip lightly and tried to hide a blush, smiling at Bronx while she waited for an opinion. "Anyways, the top was one of my favorites from the Pyramid Catalog. Uncle Aflred got it for me for my birthday last year."

If you want to have things ready ahead of time you can precook the rice and keep it in the fridge till you need it. Just heat it up before adding ^^

Here is a great dish to go with it if you want the fried rice as a side dish.

    Stir-Fry Vegetables

    4. Serve with rice.

  8. Rae sighed and leaned back in her seat across from Bronx, glad that it swiveled so she could actually face her. "Bruce is my legal guardian. Despite the fact that I am 24. I came here when I was about 14 and got into some sort of accident. Don't remember the details. When I woke up I didn't remember who I was other then my name. I didn't even know WHAT I was. So when my inhuman nature started to show through naturally, people worried I would be trouble. Especially since it showed most when I was scared or angry. I uh...was a bit destructive at times. So it was decided that I needed a guardian. Bruce being batman offered saying he had the money and room and would be "happy to help." In other words, he wanted to keep an eye on me and make sure I didn't end up hanging out with the wrong crowd." She smirked, one finger absently rubbing over a small pendant in the shape of a scarecrow that hung around her neck. "Obviously it didn't work." She chuckled.

Getting up Rae crossed the small cabin to the mini fridge and pulled open the door. Taking out a couple drinks she handed one to her friend before returning to her seat. "No one knew my exact age so it was assumed I was around 14 to 16. Due to my intelligence I ended up going to high school. That's where I met Jonathan. He was 18 and a senior. He got picked on a lot. I wasn't much better off. Was singled out for my age, and such. We weren't friends or anything. But on occasion he would help me when someone stuck my things out of reach or I would help him after a fight." She shrugged, scowling at the memories. Later, when he became a professor I ended up in his psych class till he got fired. After that, I took a job at Arkham working in the records room. Surprised the heck out of me when I found out he was my boss. Brucie was NOT happy about my working there. Said it was no place for an "impressionable young girl" to be working." She stretched, sipping her drink. "He never did approve of anything I did. Motorcycles, racing, becoming a partner at a bar. I'll admit I did a lot to piss him off. But it was fun and I enjoyed it, especially after I got my memory back."

At that point Bruce came back into the cabin and took his seat, putting on some headphones. "We'll be there in about an hour." He informed them, smiling in a friendly matter at Bronx while looking her over slowly. "I hope everything will be to your liking ladies."

Rae snorted and simply moved to seat right next to Bronx, further away from Bruce. She lowered her voice, sure he wasn't listening to anything through the headphones. "I'm really worried about Jonathan." She said softly, looking out the window while absently playing with her pendant again. "This convention feels awfully last minute and it is weird that its in Vegas instead of at the Gotham Convention Center. Did you know Jonathan was my first friend here?" She looked over at Bronx, smiling faintly. "Bruce was always a controlling ass. And Alfred is more like a lovable uncle. Everyone else just kinda shied away cause I'm a "freak" as they put it. He really hated that I wasn't afraid of him. "She chuckled. "Even swiped the mask off and smacked him upside the head when he tried using me for bait. Told him if he wanted to use me for bait to get Batman he should have just ASKED, not gassed me, which Bruce was inoculating me against anyways."

Seconds later the plain bucked sharply hitting some turbulence and causing Rae to bounce out of her seat, landing hard on the floor, much to Bruce's amusement. The fasten seat belt light came on seconds later. Rae glared at it. "Oh sure. NOW it comes on." She growled, climbing back into her seat and strapping in. "Anything else you want to know hun? Not sure how informative that was..." She grinned sheepishly.

"Oh...I should probably call the others again and let them know about our change in plans." Picking up the air phone, she once again called Kagome, after quickly explaining things she set the phone back in its cradle and filled Bronx in on what was happening with them.

  9. Rae nodded, leaning against the dryer as she thought, arms crossed over her chest. "Honestly, I would rather go see my friend anyways, I mean, Bruce wont get violent with me or anything, but I just don't like being around him. We just don't mix well." She said with a grin. Motioning the other woman to follow her Rae moved down a short hall and took a key out of her pocket. At the end of the hall was a small broom closet, a light switch and an outlet.

Despite flipping the light switch up, the light did not come on. "Looks like the bulb burnt out." Sanura stated, glancing up at it before her gave returned to the woman in front of her who was currently crouching down next to the outlet.

"Mmm...looks can be deceiving." Rae replied, pushing the cover to the outlet aside to reveal a small key hole. Inserting the key she gave it a quick twist, the wall beside them moving aside to reveal a lit room. "The bulb itself is slightly unscrewed. Tighten it up and it will come back on. That way, when people flip the switch and it fails they think it was just the bulb being loose, instead of taking a closer look at things. Most people wouldn't think to look for a hidden room, but for someone like Bruce, or anyone else who know me well enough, or the people I hang out with, the thought may occur to them. Jonathan's idea. I was just going to leave the light so it wouldn't work, as the switch actually turns on the lights in here and there is enough light from the washroom to see into the hall." She explained, stepping inside.

Sanura followed and looked around the room at the wide array of weapons displayed there. "Niiice." She murmured.

Rae just grinned. "Girls gotta have her toys doesn't she? I don't like guns. And you wont find any here, but there is plenty of other things. Feel free to borrow whatever, so long as I get it back. We've got some time to kill. It's late and Arkham wont take visitors at this hour. Might as well get some prep-work done." She explained. Moving over to a wall she began to select a few items, and set them on a table, intent on cleaning them while she worked on an excuse for getting one of the girls into Arkham with her to see Riddler.

Sanura nodded and eagerly began to look through the weaponry.

While the girls were busy downstairs, upstairs Jonathan had grown tired of being around others and departed to his lab. He came back down about an hour later, briefcase in hand. His outward apearance was as calm alway but his eyes and voice betrayed the giddiness he was actually feeling. "Here," He said, handing several vials to Apollo as well as a sealed envelope. "Give these to Rae when she finally decides to come back up. No doubt she has gone to play in that little room of hers. You wont be able to get into Arkham tonight so I doubt she will be up any time soon." He stated before quickly leaving.

Slightly confused, Apollo looked down at the items before shrugging and pocketing them. "Well that was weird." She said, looking over at Bronx, one brow raised slightly.

Many hours later, both girls finally returned upstairs, one carrying a basket of laundry, the other a large amount of very shiny weapons. Setting down her laundry, Rae smiled, letting out a content sigh. "WELL! That was fun." She grinned. If either of you want to borrow some weapons, Sanura-chan can show you where they are." She said, looking at Bronx and Apollo. "Sorry for just leaving you up here by the way...got distracted by pretty blades. What have you two been up too?"

Before she could get a response an alarm began to sound, the annoying beeping the only warning they had. "Shit. Figures he would have to come find me." Rae muttered, quickly grabbing up any weapons and using her increased speed to stash them in her room. After closing the door she walked back to the living room and stood, arms crossed, watching the front door, having turned off the alarm. Minutes later it burst open and Bruce Wayne stormed in, his butler Alfred following shortly after looking very apologetic.

"Where have you been?! Do you have ANY idea the trouble you caused?" Bruce yelled, standing in front of Rae.

Sighing, Rae tilted her head. "Nice to see you too Brucey." She grumbled, looking around him she smiled and waved. "Hi Uncle Alfred!" She looked around at her friends questioningly, concerned that Jonathan may still be around.

Catching Apollo's eyes she relaxed at the slight shake of the head she received, indicating that her friend was no longer there. Smiling, she turned her attention once more to Wayne, far to used to him showing up at her place in the early hours of morning to yell or lecture her. "Uh Bruce? I kinda have company." She said, cutting him off mid-sentance.

Blinking, Mr. Wayne looked around the room as if just noticing the 3 other women and quickly adopted his best smile. "Oh, so you do. My deepest apologies ladies." He said, winking at the girls flirtatiously.

Rae just rolled her eyes and introduced everyone. "Bronx, Apollo, Sanura, this is Bruce Wayne. Billionare, playboy and all around pain in my ass." She stated, smirking at the glare she received. "So what did you want? Because you never come here JUST to yell at me."

Bruce sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose as if trying to fight off a headache. "There is a military convention in Las Vegas that I will be attending for a few days. One of the items they will be showcasing is a prototype for a high volume dispersal unit that Wayne industries is working on. As well as several other things. YOU are going to be coming with me." He stated.

"WHAT?! Why the hell do I have to go?!" Rae shouted, her eyes quickly turning from a passive silver to a brilliant, pissed off red.

"Because you are still under my care and will do as I say. After the last time you were here I would much rather have you where I can keep my eye on you." Bruce snapped back before grumbled. "And Alfred thinks it will be a good "bonding experience.""

Rae blinked and looked at Alfred who gave her a pointed look before pouting. "Alfreeed! How could you do this to me?" She sighed. "FINE. But I am not going alone. I'm bringing Bronx with me."

It was a statement, no room for arguments and Bruce quickly agreed, not wanting to have to argue. "Fine. Go get packed. We leave for the airport in 10 minutes." Bruce said, quickly heading back out to the car.

Rae grumbled and headed for her room, motioning the girls to follow. Scooping up her bag she began to throw different articles of clothing into it. "Sorry guys, I wouldn't normally agree to this but I got a really bad feeling when Bruce mentioned Vegas."

"Don't worry about it Rae." Bronx said, locating the stash of weapons and picking out a few for herself. "Wherever Bruce Wayne goes, a sue is sure to follow. Or more, considering who he is."

Nodding, Rae looked at her friends. "Where's Jonathan?" She asked, trying not to look as concerned as she felt.

"He left a while ago. Gave me these to give to you as well." Apollo said, handing over the vials and envelope.

Taking them, Rae quickly tore open the envelope and read the note inside, pailing slightly. "That bad feeling just got worse. Jonathan went to Vegas. He's after the dispersal unit." Taking out a couple needles she quickly withdrew some of the contents of the vials and injected it into her arm before doing the same for Bronx. "This is the antidote for his latest toxin. It will protect us from feeling the effects should we get exposed." After disposing of the needles she grabbed a note book and quickly began writing. "Since I wont be able to go with you to Arkham, go there tomorrow...well, later today given that its already early morning, and ask Jamey Devoi, one of the guards. Give him this. He will take you to see Riddler." She tore off the sheet and quickly started another, drawing an wolfs head at the bottom with a question mark around the eye. "And give this to Edward. It will get him to co-operate with you. Otherwise, he would just be a royal pain in the ass. And please be nice to him. He and Jonathan are my best friends. He's very sweet, VERY intelligent, and knows just about everything that is going on, even while locked up. And if he starts in on the riddles, tell him to can it and I promise to listen to all of them next time we meet." She made a face at the idea of sitting through that.

Pulling out a final sheet of paper she wrote down two numbers. "I still have Jonathan's cell so here is the number for that. And this is my cell number, which Kagome has. You may want her to give it to someone else though, as she has a habit of setting things down and leaving them, like her arrows, only to find she doesn't have them when needed." With that said, Rae handed over a spare set of keys to her place as well as some of the cars and bikes down in the garage, hugged her friends and quickly left, not wanting Bruce to come back because she is taking to long.

2 hours later and Bruce, Bronx and Rae were all settled on one of Wayne's private jets, well on their way to whatever mayhem Vegas may hold.

  10. Rae scowled faintly at the thought of having to deal with Bruce Wayne again, even if she did bring it up in the first place, and unconsciously moved close to Jonathan, her arm wrapping around his waist in both a protective and possessive manor.

"As much as I dislike the idea, and I know I suggested it in the first place, I think Brucey would be a better option if you want info on strange behavior in the city. Edward would be good for information on new criminals and people recently admitted to Arkham though, which I could see a few sue's there." She stated, using a nickname for Bruce that he hated. "But I must warn you, if we go see Bruce, he may be a tad hostile towards me. Just ignore it."

Jonathan looked down at Rae as she pressed against him, her body tense and lightly rested a hand on her shoulder. "If you want to see Edward you will have to make a trip to Arkham itself. He's been there all week." He informed them.

Rae nodded, relaxing slightly. "That wont be too hard then but I will only be able to take one of you with me for that. They dont like large groups of visitors." She glanced over at Sanura. "Here, lets get that stuff in the washer before the blood sets." Holding out her hand, she took the girls clothes once she had emptied them completely and went downstairs to start the wash, leaving the others to decide what they wanted to do.

  11. It, uh, it reads like constructive criticism to me.

Lol I must admit I find some of it constructive, I just found others offensive. Like the "its like carrie without the awesome parts" is that really necessary? Honestly, I think the thing that torked me most was the hair comment. Its Gotham, people run around in costumes, have horrible disfigurements and for all intensive purposes, escape when they shouldn't be able too and do impossible things, is silver hair so odd? *giggles* Thanks for commenting though JayDee! Made me smile.

  12. Ok, even though this happened 2 years ago it STILL pisses me off. I had just finished the first chapter to what I was HOPING would be my first completed fan fiction. This was when I used ff.net before I found AFF. It clearly stated no flames. I was very proud of it and hoping to get constructive criticism. This is what I got instead.

"I will not flame, for that is below me and is a most unkind gesture. However, I will offer some tips. Firstly, uh, your character is sort of like Carrie, the much abused and psychic girl from the Stephen King book, except without the awesome parts. She's just a crazy telepath I have less than no sympathy for or connection to. Secondly, her name needs more consonants. Raea is not a name. Rhea, yes, Raea, no. Thirdly, invest in a spell-check or do a proof read or two. Your h's, oddly enough, have a way of going away. The mistakes you made in the field of spelling are gaping. Even your temporary title is spelled wrong. Beginning. Not Beggining. Common mistake, aye, but ack! Lastly, silver hair? Bollocks, I say! Grandmothers have silver hair, unless it all falls out first, not 26 year olds.

Also, if she reduced someone to gory ooze like Dr. Manhattan did to Rorschach in Watchmen, I don't think it would just be ignored. I mean, hello! She made a man explode! Gordon would pitch a fit upon discovering a woman able to splatter a man with just her mind, not wave his hand at the whole incident.

Keep writing this, and try to find a spell-check and a little better characterization. And please don't make her have weird sex with the Scarecrow. That'll really shatter me. And scare me."

FIRST off, I have never read Carrie nor had I even HEARD of Carrie at the time. SECOND, Raea IS a name. If I had the paper I would tell you what it freaking MEANS and what language! THIRD, the Raea I use is short for Astraea who was a greek goddess. Third, I did use spell check. It just was crap. And Fourth, its a story! People go around dressed up as giant bats and clowns! So why the hell cant my character have silver hair! -.- That is all.

    Feel free to comment.

  13. Rae couldn't help the blush that formed at Sanura's comment. "Cute is an understatement." She muttered. She listened quietly as the others discussed the possibility of tracking the stranger who had shown up at the field.

She stiffened as she felt Jonathan's body press up against hers and watched as his arms came around. "You could have just asked for some you know. Or got your own." She stated as she relaxed and leaned back into him while he grabbed some of the food from her plate.

"Why?" He asked, rubbing against her, one arm around her waist. "It's much more enjoyable to eat this way."

Rae blushed as his hand traveled lower, keeping an eye on her friends. "Tease." She growled before forcing herself to focus on the conversation once more, hearing Apollo ask where they should start.

"Well, Sanura is right that I do know a lot of the people here in Gotham. I suppose I could ask around. Riddler always seems to know what is going on and I suppose I could ask Wayne...though I'm sure he is still mad at me for the last time I was here. But he never can resist talking to pretty girls." She said, winking at Bronx, Apollo and Sanura.

Ducking under Jonathan's arm she went over to her bag and started digging through it. "Huh...must have left it with the others. Jonathan, let me borrow your cell." Turning back to her friend she held out her hand expectantly.

Jonathan raised a brow and smirked. "And I get what out of this?"

Rae sighed and thought, trying to figure out what he would want that wouldn't get her into more trouble, or someone killed. Grinning as an idea occurred to her she walked back over to the male who was still smirking at her and grabbed his head, pulling him down into a kiss while rubbing against him. After a few minutes she stepped back. "How about we finish what we started last time I was in town?" She purred.

In seconds the phone was in her hands. Smiling Rae called her own cell.

Back with Foe and the others, Kagome's purse began to vibrate. Blinking, she opened it and pulled out Rae's cell and answered it. "Hello?"

"Hey Kags! I see you found my phone. Just wanted to see if you guys found anything interesting yet." She said. Listening, she grabbed a spare sheet of paper and began to write. "Ok got it. Oh! And um, could you tell Foe that me and the others are no longer in Metropolis? I forgot to mention that my home is in Gotham when I gave him the address. Thanks, Bye!" Hanging up she leaned on the back of the counter and relayed where the others were and the strange clues they had found to her companions.

"Foe thinks the genie one refers to him, and I'm pretty sure the "daughter of heaven and hell" one is me...But other then that, I have no idea." She said, handing the paper with the clues on it to Bronx since she was closer.

  14. Rae came out with a large assortment of clothes and set them on the couch. "Ok! I have several things for everyone. Take what you like." She said, smiling happily. Looking back at her now closed bedroom door, she frowned faintly, and looked over at her friends mask once more, her face becoming thoughtful as she wondered what all she could get away with with her friends there. She shrugged and sighed, heading into the kitchen and pulling things out, getting ready to make dinner for everyone.

Humming quietly she set to work, cutting up vegetables for a stir-fry and setting pots and pans out to heat up. She casually slipped the mask into her back pocket, resuming her work. When Jonathan finally came out she glanced up, looking him over slowly and grinning, trying her best to keep from blushing.

Jonathan for the most part pretended not to notice, though the slight smirk gave him away before he scowled, looking for his mask. At first he glared at Sanura and Bronx before spotting it in Rae's pocket. Going over he snatched it away and placed it in his briefcase, but not before smacking her upside the head good naturedly. After he put his briefcase away in her room he came back to the kitchen and grabbed the knife from her, taking over the cutting while she cooked, the two quickly falling back into old habits. "You're going to cut yourself." He said, pushing her hand away when she tried to grab it back.

Rae snorted and glared at him. "Says the guy who gets tazered in the face." For his part, he simply glared back at her before rolling his eyes.

Turning from her cooking Rae addressed her friends. "Girls," She started, having spotted Sanura peeking out. "This is Jonathan Crane. Jonathan, that's Apollo, Bronx and Sanura." She said, pointing to each in turn.

Jonathan, for his part merely looked up from his work and nodded his head at each in turn. "I take it your all as crazy as she is. Please stay out of my lab."

Rae just shook her head at her friend. "Anti-social as always I see." She muttered, kissing his cheek before winking at her friends. "Dinner will be ready soon." She said, smiling. "Bronx, could you set the table? Dishes are in the cabnet over there." She pointed.

  15. Rae watched as Sky left and shook her head, having picked up on his odd behavior. "He knows something." She stated before turning to the rest of the group as she began to dig through her bag.

"I'm going home. Got stuck here at one point for a few years so I have my own place." She looked over at Sanura, pulling out a set of keys. "You can borrow some of my things. Even get in a shower if you want. I know I will. After that I am going to look up some old friends." She took out a sheet of paper and wrote down her address, handing it to Foe. "If you guys run into Riddler or Scarecrow, let 'em know Rae is back. Though I'm pretty sure I know where to find Jonathan."

She hung around a few more minutes while Jem removed the bullets, allowing her virus to take over so her back would heal quickly, her eyes becoming red once more. "Thanks Jem. Oh, and just so the new comers know, I am infected with the T-Virus. So when my eyes are red, don't touch any of my blood. I would feel terrible if you got infected." She smiled faintly before shouldering her bag once more. "Apollo, would you mind?" She asked, showing Apollo the address and a picture of the area her home was in.

Apollo smilled. "Of course not!" With another wave of her hand the small group of women were telaported away from the field and dropped off in front of what looked like an old warehouse. Rae smiled and walked over to the door, entering a 4 digit code before heading inside and making her way up a flight of stairs.

"You live here? In a warehouse?" Sunara asked, looking around.

"Sometimes." Rae replied, unlocking another door at the top of the stairs. Pushing it open she blinked, surprised to see the lights on and looked around, a smile forming as she noticed how clean the place was. Stepping into the living room she looked around, her eyes taking in the burgundy couch and drapes, cherry wood floors and walls lined with bookshelves overflowing with old books. Looking over at the kitchen she spotted something laying on the granite counters that had her practically squealing in delight. Placing her bag on the table as she passed it she gently lifted up the burlap mask, tracing the stitched over mouth lightly before placing it down and turning to her companions. "I would not recommend touching that or the briefcase unless you want to see some horrid things. Also, help yourself to anything in the kitchen, there are two guest rooms down the hall on the left. Each has a bathroom and there is a third in the hall. If you will excuse me, I have to go greet a friend. I will bring out some spare clothes in a few minutes."

Without waiting for a reply Rae quickly made her way down the hall and through the door on her left, stepping into her bedroom. Pausing briefly she recognized the sounds of the shower and quickly stripped out of her clothes, intent on sneaking up on her target. Peeking through the open door to her bathroom she smirked and quickly slipped into the shower, wrapping her arms around the waist of the male in front of her. "I should have known you would make use of my place while I was gone." She chuckled.

The male tensed as she grabbed him before relaxing once more, turning around to face her. "If you were attempting to scare me Rae, it didn't work." He stated, cool blue eyes staring down at her in an almost bored fashion. He then proceeded to dump a bottle of shampoo on her head.

"Hey!" Rae protested, moving back. "That wasn't very nice Jonathan." She pouted, looking up into his now smirking face. Gathering up some of the goo she wiped it in his brown hair before proceeding to wash her own, stepping under the spray when he moved aside.

"Neither is interrupting someone's shower." He replied as he resumed washing, looking her over. "You're bleeding again I see."

Rae cursed and quickly suppressed her virus. "Ran into a bit of trouble in my travels. Brought some friends home by the way. So don't go wandering the house naked ok?" She smirked. "As for interrupting you, my house, my shower." She smiled, leaning up to place a light kiss on his lips.

Jonathan just raised a brow and spun her around, proceeding to wash the blood from her back. "Why do I put up with you." He grumbled. Despite having her back to him, Rae knew he was joking.

"You know you like me. Stop trying to pretend otherwise." She mumbled, enjoying the feel of his hands. She was quickly brought out of her thoughts when she remembered the clothes. "Figures." She sighed, rinsing off. "Guess I'll leave you to your shower then."

Quickly exiting the shower she grabbed a towel and dried off before going into her closet and getting dressed. Once done she grabbed a selection of clothes for her friends and took them out. Despite having to end her shower so soon Rae smirked, having truly enjoyed seeing her friend again, especially without any clothes.

  16. DA looked over at the new comer warily, eying his gun. She listened to the exchange between him and Bronx for a minute before gently taking Jems arm, guiding her over to Kagome and out of the way of more falling debris.

"I'll take you up on the offer for assistance hun. There are a couple bullets in my back that I can't reach if you wouldn't mind removing them for me." She stated, her eyes flashing an red in irritation as she glanced at Batman, making sure to keep an eye on him. Glancing at Kagome she shook her head and grinned.

"See, this is why I never wear heals. They just aren't sensible shoes. Especially with how crazy our lives are." She looked over her own attire and sighed, still in her bikini top.

After a silent debate she sat down and pulled out her medical equipment, searching for a pair of tweezers. Holding them up she asked, "Would one of you mind? The damn things kinda sting and I would like to put a proper top on. As for your lawyer comment Jem, we mean Mary Sues. Apparently they are growing in numbers and strength at a dangerous rate and are trying to take over. We are moving from place to place trying to get rid of them. Aparently what you walked into at the bar was a specialized group sent to kill us for interfering." She smiled faintly, the red vanishing from her eyes completely.

  17. DA watched as a few more fights started, calmly taking the time to remove the bullets from her chest and stomach with a pair of tweezers, the wounds healing quickly once the metal was removed/. She winced faintly when she realized she wouldn't be able to reach the ones in her back and sighed.

"Great." She mumbled before cleaning her equipment and putting everything back in her bag.

Finally there was only one tzu left. DA shouldered her back pack once more and joined her friends who had begun to form a circle around the annoying woman. She listened as the tzu attempted to brag, blinking when something brown was dumped onto the blond. Sniffing the air DA quickly determined the substance to be barbeque sauce. She watched as another woman jumped down and began to devour the tzu. And I thought zombies were nasty. She thought.

Further musing was made impossible as she heard Savitar shout and witnissed him throwing what she could only describe as a giant tantrum. Hearing Foe mention running, followed by everyone taking off, she quickly took off after them, diving into the beat up car only slightly concerned as to what safety it may offer. Once inside, a quick look around answered that question.

"Interesting." She stated, arms crossed. Yelping, she landed hard when everything tilted. "Ow." She grumbled, standing up once more before glancing at Apollo and Bronx who were the closest to her.

"Is everyone all right?" She asked, checking the group over for injuries, ready to tend any that needed it. She whirled around as the hero's came bursting onto the sceen. At the sight of all the spandex she raised a brow before her gaze landed on Batman.

A deep scowl formed on her face as she remembered the time spent in the DC world after she had gotten stuck there due to a nasty bought of amnesia while trying to return to the RE world. Her scowl deepened as she let out a low growl, remembering the short time she spent in Arkham before being placed into Batmans personal custody, Bruce Wayne being given legal guardianship over her till someone came forward on her account. She understood that the mayor thought she was dangerous and was only trying to protect his city. But she had never done anything to warrent such thoughts. She found herself hating her guardian and running away often, at one point coming across Edward Nygma and Jonathan Crane. At the thought of the two males whom she had become quite fond of she sighed and turned away, missing her friends.

She didnt know if this was the same Batman or not and doubted she would see her friends again. Before she could drift further into sadness a flash of color caught her eyes. Moving quickly she gently cupped her hands around what at first apeared to be a uniquely colored butterfly. Opening her hands slowly she looked down at what seemed to actually be a small pixie.

"Oh, sorry about that." She said quietly, moving her hands so that the small woman was resting on her palm. "I saw some colorfull movement and simply wanted to know what it was." She smiled at Jem, hoping she hadnt hurt her.

  18. Narrowing her eyes at Foe for a minute DA finally just shook her head and moved over to Kagome, pushing her down gently into a chair.

"I am going to have to remove the rest of your sleeve Kagome." She said as she began to gently tear off the ruined fabric. After that was done she examined the wound before grabbing a needle. Without any warning she quickly injected a numbing agent into Kagome's shoulder, knowing it was going to burn like a bitch for a minute before taking effect. Kagome hissed in pain and tried to move away, protesting and yelling about not having any warning.

Da held her in place with a firm hand and poked her arm a few times. "Does that hurt?" She asked. Kagome flinched, closing her eyes in preparation of the pain to come, opening them a few seconds later looking first at her arm, then the woman treating her. "Nuh uh...I don't feel a thing." She stated, eyes wide in shock.

"Good." DA mumbled as she picked up a cloth and dipped it into a mix of water and alcohol. "I am going to first clean the wound, no telling how often that twit cleaned her weapon, then I will start repairing the muscle damage followed by the skin." She said, all the while cleaning and examining the arm. "After that I will give you something to help replenish your blood as well as some strong anti-biotics to stave off infection." She paused, looking into Kagome's eyes seriously. "Please try to keep your miko power's to yourself. Being half demon, while they may not kill me, they are irritating."

Kagome nodded and watched in fascination as DA set down the cloth and placed her hands over the wound, still amazed at the lack of feeling in her arm. Her eyes widened once more as the hands began to glow a soft green. "Wh-what are you doing?" She asked, becoming slightly nervous as green usually indicated Sesshomaru was about to use some form of poison.

"I am manipulating my life force and aura in a way that will heal the wounds without harming myself." DA replied, working carefully to repair everything. She dully noted that the girl in front of her must still be in shock, not necessarily a bad thing given her tendency to panic. Once done she gave Kagome another shot to counter act the numbing agent before moving to crush several blood rich organs. Mixing them together in a bowl she handed the concoction to her friend before giving her one final shot, the anti-bioti's promised. "Drink this to replenish your blood. Just don't ask whats in it."

After cleaning her hands and work area DA pulled a spare shirt from her bag, handing it to Kagome. "I recommend you stay out of the rest of the fights. You're body needs time to recover from the shock." Turning, she was able to catch the last of Foe's current fight with the Tzu, fully expecting her to run when she the saw panties. Instead, she saw her become enraged and raise the massive chainsaw above her head and charge towards Foe. Thinking quickly DA used her T-virus enhanced speed and agility to move around the crowd of people as well as the broken furnature, coming up behind the snarling tzu.

Grabbing the woman around the waist DA pulled her flush against her front, using her free right hand to rip off the skirt covering tzus now bare pussy. She smirked, her eyes flashing dangerously as she moved her hand down, caressing her slowly. "My my, such a fiery temper." She purred quietly, nipping the girls ear. "I like that."

The tzu growled at the feeling of someone grabbing her, getting ready to head butt who ever it was when she let out a surprised shriek at the feel of another womans hand rubbing her outer lips and clit. In her shock she quickly dropped her weapon causing the chainsaw to fall harmlessly to the ground with the release of its trigger, her hands moving to the arm around her waist and hand between her legs, trying to pry the insanly strong girl off of her. "OHMYGOSH STOP!" She shouted, her words coming out a jumbled mess as she continued to struggle, trying to ignore the feelings the probing fingers were igniting.

DA chuckled, winking at Foe as the girl could not see her. "Aw but why? You're so cute. I think I may have to take you for myself." She grinned before letting go suddenly. The mortified tzu imedietly broke into tears and raced off, screaming about her "purity" being violated. DA made a disgusted face, looking down at her hand. Before she could go dip her hand in bleach though 3 loud shots rang out and she quickly felt the all to familure pain of being shot.

Whirling around she glared at a tzu wielding twin pistols. Her eyes narrowed at the sight of the bottle blond, taking note of the red cat eye contacts and Jill Valentine style outfit she wore. The tzu smirked. "You're infected aren't you. I would recognize those eyes and enhanced abilities anywhere. Just like my sweet weski-poo. Well, can't have you running around. Once I am finished with you I think I will go see if weski wants to have a little fun."

DA growled loudly at the thought of this bitch even THINKING such things about her lover, let alone going anywhere near him. "Over my dead body!" She shouted, racing towards the woman, fist clenched as she prepaired to try and punch straight through her offending mouth. The tzu smirked, taking aim. "That can be arranged." She said as she began to fire.

Several bullets hit DA in the chest and left shoulder, a few others hitting her stomach as she continued to move. She had expected the tzu to be faster then normal, but was suprised at the decency of her aim, Each shot had managed to hit a vital organ, though she continued to move as if it were nothing, her virus already starting to work to heal her body. DA snorted. "If you know so much about my virus then you should already know those wont work against me." Her fist collided with its target, sending the girl flying back.

The tzu was up quickly though, bringing both guns up level with DA's head after a quick reload. "Maybe not where I was aiming, but it was worth a shot. Maybe if I empty both clips in your head though, you will go to hell where you belong." She stopped, seconds from pulling the trigger as a thought occured to her, a slow smile spreading across her pouty lips as she began to laugh. "Oh don't tell me. You think you actually have a chance with my weski-poo? Why would he want you when he has a young, beautiful goddess like me?" She smirked.

DA paused in her next attack, tilting her head faintly, her anger melting till all that was left was a look of pity. "Why would he want an old hag like you?"

Her opponet scowled, her laughter quickly dying. "Old hag? You must be blind. I am the most beautiful woman here." DA just shook her head. "Oh honey, you mean no one has told you? I mean, just look at those wrinkles! That dried, withered skin, that thin scraggly hair, and those teeth! When was the last time you looked in the mirror sweety?" She said, her voice gentle and soothing.

"What are you talking about? I am perfect!" Despite her strong words a look of doubt and fear began to enter the tzu's eyes, a hand going to her face. "I feel nothing wrong. My skin is smooth and soft, and my hair long and thick." She said. DA sighed and moved to her bag, taking out a mirror. "Someone very strong must have placed a spell on you then so you would not feel it, your boss perhaps? Here, have a look." Stepping forward she handed the girl the mirror. Looking into it the young woman began to shake, her eyes filling with tears.

"No NO! This cant be true!" Looking back at her was a withered old hag. Looking up at DA she grabbed her shoulders frantically. "Remove the spell! I give you permission to use magic on me, just remove the spell!" DA nodded and took a vial from her pocket, infusing it with her energy. "Drink this." She stated. Taking it the girl quickly downed it, unknowingly allowing DA to place an aging spell on her. Feeling around again the tzu felt her kin changing, and looking at her arms, witnessed as they became old and withered limbs. "NOOOOO!!!!!!!" She screamed as she raced out, her mind irreparably shattered.

DA smirked as she picked up the trick mirror and moved to sit with Apollo, waiting for the next person to heal. She picked up the whip from the table and wrapped it around her waist, claiming it as hers. "Nice trick Apollo. Though that is one ugly statue." She chuckled, washing the filth from her hands. She looked down at her body and sighed. "I hate removing bullets..."

(quick note second chainsaw was chainged to a whip. remaining weapons are halberd, lightsaber, fullblade, and dragon’s paw )

  19. DA moved out of the way when the first of the sue's attacked Foe, having been partially leaning against his back. Her eyes narrowed as she watched the fight progress. After a few minutes her eyes turned to the others as she sized them up. She really didn't want to fight unless absolutely necessary, despite being capable of handling herself. In her current state of irritation the T-virus was running full force through out her body and she did not wish to risk infecting one of the bitches. Dealing with Wesker was annoying enough when he was in a foul mood, someone like them would most likely lose control and cause a fair amount of damage to her and others.

Thinking about her lover she sighed and shook her head. He would not be pleased if she infected someone he would consider unworthy. Returning her mind to the fight in progress, DA took a moment to admire the sword play of both her friend and the bitch he was fighting before noticing Foe's injuries. Making a decision she shouldered her back pack once more and slipped into the crowd to find either Fang or Fury. Locating one she looked up at the tall male.

"Is there a place I could use in order to heal any who need it?" She inquired quietly. After looking her over Fang motioned her to a small area to the back of the room. Nodding her thanks DA went over and took out a thick, ancient looking tome, setting it aside as well as several bowls, vials and plants. Once satisfied that everything was in order she turned her attention back to the rest of the room, motioning Foe over once he was finished.

Looking over his injury she tilted her head faintly. "If you would like, I am familiar with energy manipulation and the healing arts. I may be able to do something for your arm."

  20. *shakes head* Dont think I am.

Ok, I would like to retract my idea for my character being related in any way to chris and claire. I found out that by the time my character was 15, their parents were long dead. *nods* STILL cant believe I couldnt find anything about that on the net when I looked -.- Fortunetly, I can still put her with wesker without any major changes *nods and thinks about all the loopholes she can exploit*
