I'm working on a piece of work featuring Bizzare Crack pairings and My goal is to make them BELIEVABLE (taking out the fact that we KNOW it wouldn't happen in real life). This story starts off with AsumaXKakashi Notes: 1. Obito is alive: i'm just pretending that THAT mission never occured. 2. After the AsumaXkakashi arc (actual romance is SLOW) 3. The whole basis of Kakashi and Asuma's relationship is the bet that kakashi lost while he was drunk. There was a party that Obito and Minato forced him into going to (since Minato is yondaime, I dont see Kakashi declining) for his own good. He makes a bet while intoxicated and ends up sleeping with Asuma.. After that they go their seperate ways, but asuma takes notice of Kakashi (specifically Kakashi trying to prove himself: his mission with Obito never happened in this, so he didn't *grow up*) AND asuma notices that kakashi basically does everything in his power to complete the mission and trains until he's almost dead (one of the reasons that he was forced into the party... to lighten him up)... The first chapter of this is available upon request and after you look over it you can decide if you want to beta it or not (AFter the AsumaXKakashi arc, it will move on to when they are teachers and that's when the pairings for the 9 genin will start.
