Hello, I've been slowly working on what is becoming a lengthy Snape/Hermione fic, and will soon be needing a Beta so I can start uploading chapters. I'm not terrible with the spelling and grammar, but I tend to run away with my sentences and commas - oh, and I always mess up dialogue. It's a given that my Beta would be a reader/writer of Harry Potter fanfic, and I'd prefer it if they're either a fan of Snape/Hermione or aren't against it. I sometimes need a sound board for plot ideas and fic progression, characterisation etc. Close-minded canon thumpers probably won't be very helpful! I'm not very experienced when it comes to writing, so I'd really love it if I had someone to help refine my ideas, and help me get better. I'm a university student so my writing tends to be sporadic and there's a negative relationship between the demands of my uni work and my fanfic progress. If you don't mind being "on call" as my Beta, and not hearing from me often but getting decent-sized chunks of fic when you do hear from me (currently the WIP is 11k+ words and there's no end in sight), then please reply so we can become acquainted.
