I've looking everywhere for a co-writer to do an AU Transformers story with me and I am not having much luck. Probably because it’s so hard to find anyone who will even write transformers. I have been out of writing for a longtime and I have a LOT of plot bunnies and don't know what to do with them and I think it would be fun to have someone co-write a fic with me. That and it would help me get back into writing. The General Plot: The transformers turned human, both factions. No one currently knows why but they are all human with the expectation of the primitive transformers who will find themselves rather reduced in size unless they were already rather small. Despite the fact they may look human they will be tougher, stronger and far more resilient then a normal human. Watching them deal with everyday life will be entertainment in and of itself but I want to add some darker elements to it. The 'cons will still be around; an anti-Autobot group can be making Autobot\human refashions worse to name a few things I have a few bunnies running around and I am very open to more bunnies and ideas. I am not a shipper so I am also open to any pairings as well, what I have written here is just a basic idea of what is happening. What I am looking for: I am looking for someone who will work with me, someone who isn't afraid to make suggestions and has an open mind and is tolerant of head canon since I view strict canon as a straitjacket. You don't need to know everything there is about the series, just have at least basic knowledge of it and the characters. I'll handle characters that you are not familiar with. And be friendly, it's not as if I bite. I like suggestions and don't mind having someone to bounce ideas off of. I am not a newbie when it comes to smut and pretty much nothing scares me off, not non con, not bondage, not hard core dark goodness. I write almost nothing but m\m and have no issues with making human on Transformer smut. I have both YIM and AIM My Weakness: Beginnings, I always seem to have trouble coming up with a beginning Fandoms I Write in: Transforms Gen one and Transforms Bayverse.

Need some advice on my new Gargoyles fic
Clockwork_Knight replied to cygnavamp's topic in Writers' Corner
Out of irrationality, she is human after all, she may want them exiled. Magus strikes me as a person who has been around the bush a few times, so to speak, so there won't be much that shocks him. He could be the voice of reason in all the chaos that is bound to break out. -
Glowing reviews for very bad fiction?
Clockwork_Knight replied to Danyealle's topic in Writers' Corner
Bad fics are every where, Sue fics and self inserts off often get far more reviews then anything that some one has worked their ass off for. I've seen fics that had bad gramer, sentice structure and anatomy that was so off I coudlnt tell if they were fondling a woman or a toaster. Yet they still get glowing reviews. I have to really dig to find any fic in the fandoms I like to find a fic that has smut that is bearable to read but I like some story to go with my smut. -
Need some advice on my new Gargoyles fic
Clockwork_Knight replied to cygnavamp's topic in Writers' Corner
Been a long time since I've seen that show, loved it. Might not be too much of a help but a lot of fantesy based fandoms\worlds see things like homosexuality, being in love with something that is not of the same species like Garnet and Zidane or Ed and Black Waltz Four. Or marriage to a non human and what not as taboo. Could you do something that might help soften the shock of it a bit ? I imagine she will not handle it as well if she found out via as a nasty shock, an adviser or something telling her what he saw or something similar. Gargoyles, like Black Waltz's and Genomes and many other fantasy races, are not human and do not have the same moral obligations as humans do. They might not have the same taboos either. I imagine, depending on how she finds out, may be offend, in shock, be angered. She may even want them to be exiled but the not ' human card' can be pulled out but still, she might not see it that way. If you want to throw a bit of a wrench in the works, maybe have some one who is in position to seize power see the act and use it against both the gargoyles and maybe even Princess Katherine. -
Pet Peeves-What can't you stand

Bad\Sue Fics that get an insane amount of reviews. I know writing fanfiction is not all about the reviews but this is one peeve that pisses me off Rape as a simple throwaway plot device: I agree with Mythdefied on this. Rape and torture are often used as throw away plot devices to generate a emo character or worse, one that wants to be screwed by some one. In the same category is the ever irritating Growing To Like It, just becouse the body reacts to the stimulation does not mean the character enjoys being violated. Psychologically, in the long run when some one is mind fucked, tortured and raped, they may end up 'liking' it. And NO to the love cures it all bull shit. Lube-less anal sex: Owwwww. It does not work that way. Babies: Fucking babies that pop out of every damn where magically. And they seem to grow at an inhuman rate Love at First Sight: I can't stand love at first sight, lust, yes but not love. It's even worse when its two characters that rather kill each other or one that would rather kill the one or torment them rather then magically fall in love with them. -

Pet Peeves-What can't you stand

Using words from a language you do not speak: Nothing like shoving broken badly done Japanese into any fic. Even better when its set in a world were Japanese does not even exist. Not using a Beta- I have to use a Beta, more then one. I am dyslexic like Silvyraven and I often get my tenses messed up. There are times even when my spell checker has no idea what the hell I am trying to type. They often catch things I do not. On the other hand there are some people who Beta that should NOT be Betas. FF.net is a place where you have to wade though the masses of bad Betas and wanna be’s to find any good ones that can actually to their job Sexual Orientation: I can't stand gender bending. Same goes for most Mepreg. The next time I hear some fangirl going on about having the baby coming OUT of a man's penis by coming through the urethra I will do us all a favor and tie them to the train tracks in the path of an oncoming train. Writing a story for the reviews/reviewers: I rarely do this myself. It hits on too many sore spots and generally rubs me the wrong after a reviewer contacted me over IM and pestered on me to no end trying to get me to write them a Yuri fic. At the time I refused to write Yuri since I was so bad at it and it was set in a universe that I had little knowledge of. -

Unfortunately a vast majority of fanfic readers do not understand that this is a hobby and will pester the piss right out of you for updates on stories. Or pester you to update\finsh old stories that you have stated rather clearly that you are NOT going to update. In my case its old stuff that is just plain bad. That and the fandom is over run with sues and screaming fangirls. Long ass author notes that take up most the page. Sues People who leave short crappy reviews like Mure Plsease, Update now, I like this, update please. They do spell it like that. -
Male writers and some female writers seem to have in their head that g-spot orgasms do happen spontaneously, there is a lot of bad fics to prove that. Or the Wham-Bam, Thank You M'am crap that happens in Yuri, straight and Yaoi fics. I can't stand the sad abundance of fake cock that seems to have taken over most yuri fandoms. Toys are nice but as my favorite OC says, " Goddamn it ! You have a tongue, use it !"

Trouble with writing beginnings to fics
Clockwork_Knight replied to Clockwork_Knight's topic in Writers' Corner
I had to rewrite the first chapter at least six times before I was finally some what happy with it. I have to go back and edit some but at least I have the first chapter. Now I just have to get the second one out. I always seem to have trouble starting a fic or a chapter since I have so many ideas its hard to choose a starting point. Took me half the night to decide what I was going to use to start the fic with, something that will hopefully grab the readers attention. Poor Vivi. I'm so mean to him. But its fun to be mean to muses. It would be easier for me if I could keep all my ideas straight so they wouldn't crowd each other. -
FFIX - Kuja/Zidane Zidane/Garnet- Its cannon but I don't see Zidane, the proverbial wild child settle down for long. That boy just can't stay on one place for long before he wants to move and live his life. It’s just in his personality. If some one managed to force Zidane to stay in one place for too long it would start to kill him inside, sorry screaming fan girls. I just don’t see Zidane setting down. Steiner/Beatrix Black Waltz Three/Black Waltz Two Black Waltz Three\Kuja- not consensual on Kuja's part but I doubt he cares. After all, he does own the Waltzes weather they like it or not Zidane\Vivi Black Waltz Three\Vivi FFX Tidus/Yuna though the pairing seems to attract a LOT of bad smut Yuna/Lulu because I’m a pervert Seymour/Yuna for N/C FF7 Vincent\Reeve they balance each other out Rude\Reno Kadaj\Cloud for non con

Any fandom and Twilight with its disgusting super sparkly vampires that have set the vampire fandom back at least half a centery. -
Title says it all. Its a problem that drive me right up the wall. I seem to be able to write most the latter chapters but can't seem to ever to come up with a beginning. When I do I often have to rewrite it no fewer then three or four times and even then I often rewrite it latter. I have the trouble in all my fics, adult and non adult. It drive me to sheer frustration at times. My current fic, A Midsumers Nightmare, has had its beginning rewritten at least three times so far and Im might redo it yet again. Not sure why its so hard for me to come up with a beginning or a starting place but I can easily write the latter chapters with no problem.
