Damn... If there was in ANY way that I could be helpful, I would do so immediately. You sound like the type of neighbor that I would like to have. The type that does not do anything to hurt others and does all that she can to be considerate. If your still in the need of any assistance, maybe I can see if there is a way for me to find some help nearby for you. You know, I have this side of me that would like to park my bike right next to her livingroom window, pull off the muffler, and wind her up to about 5 grand on the tach while doing a burnout. Then again, that would put me on the same level as your neighbor and LL, and I am trying to be a better person.

I just wanted to wish everyone here a happy Thanksgiving. I have a few things that I need to be thankful for. I have my faith, which keeps me goin in this world when every instinct tells me it would be easier to quit. I have my family. Granted, for the most part, they may not be considered "real" family, but there are bonds that are tighter than blood. A true family sticks together, and those are the ones I call my "family". I am thankful that I have a place to live. There was a time in my life that I did not have that. I am blessed to have such a place to call home now. Finally, I am thankful for AFF. I have found so many stories to read, as well as a place for me to post some of my writings. Your all almost like a second family to me. For all this, I say a prayer of thanks.

Holy HELL! I have finally done one of my goals! I have actually came out the victor in a battle against Keith! in the process, I took him out of the first place spot in the richest (overall) members. I have never thought that the day would come so quick! (the only reason for that goal Keith is because it looked so impossible to do... I think I need to make a suggestion about changing how the story codes are listed. I would rather see them listed under the summary, so you don't have to cut short your summary trying to list all the codes.

I find that when I get writers block (usually, it's a muse block) One of the best things I can do is start reading, either a good book or fanfic. At times, I literally have to get away from the written word, so I'll play a game online, or go for a ride on my motorcycle. Usually, that works, and I find myself ready to write at least a page or two.

I am interested in working as a beta for you. I shall have to read your story so that I may get a feel for your writing style. If you still need a beta, send me a message and we can work out the details. Animedevildog

Well, I'm at level 127, and I'm making progress every day... Keith, it's my goal to someday surpass you.

I've seen it happen before with .doc files that were too large also. I myself have never had to do something that big in one file. I write my stories chapter per chapter, and house them in their own little folder. This way, I do not have issued of things comming out like an edited version of a sailor's mouth lol

This has proven to be a rather interesting debate, and I am glad that it has not turned into a flame war such as the likes that happen in other places. I also believe that the seperation of Church and State is an important issue in today's times. I believe that religious influences need to be removed as much as possible from the law and formation of law. Here in Maine, the legislature passed, and the governor signed into law, a bill that would allow same sex marriages in this State. This law is now under attack by a small but highly vocal group of individuals who wish to have it amended in the State Constitution that Marriage is between a man and a woman. One of the biggest segments within this group spearheading this yet another attack on the personal freedoms that you and/or I enjoy is the Mormon Church. Yes, Christianity is at it again. (one of the tenants of the Mormon Church is that marriage is NOT between a man and another man, but between a man and his multiple child brides.) Now, What if you happened to belong to a particular belief that not only allowed same sex marriage, but actually encouraged it. It would seem that Christianity once again has shoved it's beliefs down your throat, and made you into a criminal for wanting to follow your own Belief's tenants. I myself am not anti-religion per say, but I do take issue with a belief that seems to wish to force their views upon others. (I believe that if two men wish to live their lives as miserably as the rest of us, they should have every right to do so.) I also believe that people have the right to their beliefs, but should keep those said beliefs to themselves when their beliefs intrude upon the rights of others. Unfortunately, it seems that the rights of others is something two few people in this world seem to care about. To those who wish to pass these various laws and moral judgements in the name of their God, I have this to say: It was Jesus himself who said "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Basically, he was saying that we do not have the right to judge others, and that there is only one true Judge. For some reason, it seems that the Religious Right seems to forget that certain tenant of their own belief system. Could it be that they choose to believe only the aspects of their own religion that suit their own purposes? History does seem to point in that direction.

It's a sad state of affairs in this world when those who have power deem themselves as the ones who can "protect" people from themselves. This is why you have what happened in Britain happening all over the world. There are factions within the United States (including within the gov't) that would LOVE to see anything close to pornographic banned. They think it is "morally" wrong, and they feel it is their duty to shove their views down everyone elses throats. It goes beyond pornographic materials too. There is a growing world-wide movement to ban ALL private ownership of firearms, and they (those who wish them banned) see the United States as a prime target. There are also those who would do the same with alcohol and tobacco. The list really goes on and on. Maybe Mother Nature had the right idea when she dropped that 6 mile wide rock on this planet. It's just that maybe she should have waited about 65 million years! At the rate things in this world are going, pretty soon, EVERYTHING will be banned, and we will be living in a hell where we have zero freedoms. Sorry that this turned into a mini-rant... I have a low tolorance for the Bible thumping book burners. >:-(
